fell on the same trap as you....i thought so too, but all fragrance stays long on arm's hair. the real deal on on clen skin. There it stays for about 6 hours

I love the light blue intense, I just bought the 3.4 oz and I do love it and I think the performance is great in my opinion

Tbh I smelt both and I like how the original Light Blue smells. The drydown smells more comfortable on my skin, Eau Intense smells a bit powdery? reminds me of iris. The aesthetic of Eau Intense's bottle does make me like it more than I should though...

Really appreciate these reviews in the outside for the scenery. Risking your safety for your viewers like me really shows how awesome and dedicated you are.

I love the regular light blue it stays on my clothes for days

Looks good reminds me of blueberry cool aid...I'll check my local Sears and Nordstroms..need a sample...Service merchandise might have this on display

I bought this because they gave me a dolce and Gabanna wash bag for free and I needed a wash bag. It's an everyday spray nice and fresh, good for the summer I like the aquatic and citrus notes. It has good sillage but up close it's not the best. I'll give it 7 out of 10. I'm not wowed by it that's why I got 50ml but it's a nice casual spray.

This is one of my favorite colognes for summer

I also picked up a 200ml bottle and I'm enjoying it a lot! They definitely upped the longevity for this one. And you hit it on the head with the linear-ness. But it's still pleasant and enjoyable.

I just got my 200 ml today, I'm very pleased with this fragrance. Only problem is, I'll have to lightly spritz this one. My edp is more like an extrait version.

I agree that this is not a projection monster. Moderate as you say. I actually like to wear this one when it's chilly

This is the only aquatic I ever liked, also one of the first fragrances I purchased, the original light blue so I may have some bias. The original would always get too musky at least when i re-purchased it. The intense is much smoother and doesn't get as musky so I really enjoy this one.

I think the sea salt is prominent in this fragrance and longevity is above average.

I love this fragrance. Discovered it, when I was subscribed to Scent Bird. Just bought myself a 100ml bottle. ✌️

I got this delivered yesterday. It immediately reminded me of Aqua Di Gio. My ADG is batch code uc118. Not sure when I bought it but it was many years ago. I'm smelling them side by side and they are definately brothers, to my nose. Update( uc118 is 2006)

I like the eau intense a lot even if it is very similar to the original. This one has a very strong grapefruit opening, it is sharper, some say sour. I am personally a big fan of the dolce designer offerings so i buy them all, haven't gotten the one sport yet.

Sweet video Ashton. I laughed out loud at the spiders. A bit off topic, but that's a great shirt. Fit is pretty underrated in fashion in my opinion.

does summer refer to humid and over 30c' most of the day? if that the case, southeast asia and africa continents people should only wear summer perfume in most time.

The only part I disagree with is the performance. I get way over 8 hours sometimes even pushing 10 with light blue intense

hey man im a new sub...i recently seen a video u did about CANDIES MEN..."and i really wish i had this..i faintly remember how it smelled. but there has to be SOMETHING on tha market (another cologne) that smells simalar..? please! please...:) recomend something.? i would really apreciate..it what fragrance does it smell VERY simalar to candies that is not discontinued?

I actually like this scent. It finally available on the market here. I tested it out recently and was thinking of picking up a 50ml bottle, but I'll wait till it's summer. We're at the end of Autumn here in Australia going into winter. I agree, I prefer this over the original Light Blue. And yep, people on Fragrantica are always messing up the votes on sillage and longevity... can't trust that site for some idiots. Great review, Ashton.

Thanks for the review.. the bottle looks cool. I haven't tried the original in a long time. Can't remember how much i liked it. Just remember that I liked it. The female one is nice, but i wouldn't wear it because its too popular of a female scent and does have a little of a fem vibe somehow.

Best fragrance in the worls

I liked it i bought it. I have my own way of testing all features of a fragrance that i wanna buy. I used to have a specific hang behind the door of my room and once i want to test any potential fragrance, i go to the shop and spritz as much as enough, having arrived home i hang my shirt behind the door and each time i enter my room i open the door and close it thus i can get a waft of the fragrance that would signify whether the projection and longevity is pretty good to purchase it or not. Hope that works out with all of you.

I don't really agree with this. Spraying fragrance on fabric and skin is very different. On fabric you only get the top notes, the fragrance never dries down with heart and base notes like it does on the skin. Second fragrances lasts on clothes for days and days so it cannot be a gauge to how it will perform on your skin. Unless you always spray your fragrance on your clothes, which I never do because I think it damages them or stain them, thanks white shirt.

Good review, Ashton! I like the change in scenery. Good job! I love me some outdoors as well. From your soliloquy you just articulated, it seems like this new release by Dolce & Gabbana doesn't seem "Intense" at all. I'll have to go sample it myself but I love the original. I do own the original bottle and have the 200 mL size. I have nothing bad to say about the original as it's been one of my most compliment getters. The ladies do love it on me haha. Performance on me is pretty good. I get a good solid 9 hours in the warmer weather, of course.

I own it. It's a really nice semi versatile scent! It smells close to the original with an added tonka and some other notes. It has good projection, performance. A very different take on a freshie. I like it!

You can do far worse than this for a signature summer scent. The bvlgari aqva line up still reigns supreme. Own and enjoy both light blues

Great fresh light blue. The atomizer is horrendous though (small puff of fine mist). Worse than any cheap cologne I've ever tried. Cap feels cheap sa well. Not a deal breaker for me. it's just something to note.

Ash, I received my 6.8 200 ml of this beast of a summer fragrance today! I I was wandering if your edp was more like an extrait? I sprayed 8 inches away from my arm and 40 minutes later , my arm is still glistening from the concentrate. The projection is beast from the start and I don't see it dulling down anytime soon. @@jajiolatunde9655 light blue intense has become one of my favorite fragrances. Projection lasts around 3 to 4 hours and longevity is honestly all day. I have the first batch made and that probably makes a difference in longevity surely.

I have Sel Marin and Costa Mediterania by I Profumi di Firenzi. Damn if I don't have to look up that name all the time. Anyways, great review .Thanks for braving the elements. Watch out for ticks this year. *Cedarcide* is a good product for the bugs. You'll smell like cedar though.

Weird. First, mines is the real deal. It barely stays on. Disappears pretty quick and the scent is similar to …. Have you ever hugged a girl who wears a lot of hair spray? That is what this smells like.

You got the 200ml?? hahaha I have a monster original release 1990 bottle of Egoiste and the other day was thinking how long would it take me to finish considering how much it gets used. I figured out my grandson would be able to rock actual "vintage" juice. Looking out for future generations!

If I had to guess I'd say it will initially hit discounters near the $50 range for a 4.2 oz bottle so somewhere around there. I just always prefer discounters unless it's something you love. I buy new releases mainly so I can review them for people.

I'm looking for a fresh fragrance for hot temperatures. I love ADG Profumo but don't consider it because it doesn't work very well on extreme hot, I believe. Hi. Just a few recommendations to answer your question. In my opinion of course 1. Versace Pour Homme 2. Dior homme cologne 3. Chanel Allure homme sport eau extreme 4. Davidoff Cool water (a classic for the extreme heat) 5. JPG Superman/ Popeye (slightly sweet but nice, minty fresh) 6. Aventus or one of its cheaper clones

amazing take at least light blue eau intense attracts spiders 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 but I tried some yesterday and prefer original light blue specially for how affordable it is now days did you tried super man le male eau fresh yet I picked that up
