I look physically slimmer and seem to be more toned but the scale isn’t changing, but I’m going to keep grinding, because health is what I’m going for

@@Peter-wl3tm Awesome.
The basic message should be very simple. Do NOT focus on the scale at all. Focus on your measurements (including bodyfat %) and how you look/feel. The scale only measures the effect of gravity.
Thank you for the wonderful, informative video! I find it encouraging. I've lost 60 lbs in about 1 1/2 years, from 242 to 181 lbs. The last while I've been trying harder and working out more in hopes of seeing the 170s, but I've been stuck... and over the last few days the scale suddenly increased to 183 and it's not going down, even though I've been doing well with staying in a calorie deficit. I've been going to the gym often and doing some sort of strength exercise just about daily, I've been physically looking smaller and gaining more visible muscle, so maybe that's why I've been stuck on the scale. Maybe it's muscle and I'm holding onto more water. It helps watching your videos knowing I'm doing things right & I just need to be patient before I see more results. :)
Thanks for this video Eric, very informative 👍
Great advice! Good content. Excellent presentation. Thank you. Keep it up please!
Thanks for this clear explanation.
Great video. Thank you Eric, you're a great teacher. That's always where people get discouraged the most, I know it's happened to me. When you don't see any results in 1-2 weeks, I'm pretty sure that's when everyone just gives up.
another excellent video :) grateful and thankful for people like you in this space

@ericrobertsfitness happy to be here. Big fan of your short form content so happy to see you make long for too!
Loved this video. Should I lower/ increase my calorie intake if I’ve been on a deficit for too long and have plateaued?
Subscribed 😊
I‘m going to try and be a bit more patient then. My scale has gone up 5 lbs since I started 3 weeks ago.

Hi Eric, I have this same scale but I threw away the instructions when I first got the scale! can you help me out and tell me the app for this scale or the name of the scale! thank you
Weight loss is more a mind battle. I’ve lost 10 stone 24 stone to 14 at every stone level it takes me an age of faffing. It was so much easier to lose weight when I was bigger. I didn’t exercise till about 5 stone into loss the gym at 7 ish and I find I have to prioritise more foods than just here’s the calories eat what I want. No to say any food is bad it’s just do I want money for a holiday or lots of clothes type thing. I loved the explanation.
This is exactly what I’m going through man…was at 230 did a cut to 176 not I’m back to 206. Still some fat gain from it but also some muscle I think because I don’t feel the same. The scale is really just a number does not tell the whole story. Been trying to work more on eating better macros and not worry about the scale. But it’s hard Love your videos man were you are at body wise is exactly were I want to be. Teach me oh wise one . I gotta alot of progress to go though.

I'm at my goal weight and I think I look great everywhere but I still have a bit of love handles. Do i just stay in a cal deficit? I know you can't spot reduce fat so idk 😅

Yeah, the mid section tends to be the last place where fat is lost. Just eat a very clean diet, 8-10K steps a day, and lift. As long as you're in a deficit they should slowly go away.
Question Do morbidly obese people lose fat quicker when dieting and exercising?
@ericrobertsfitness

Yes and no. Maybe yes, because they have more to lose. But maybe not bc they usually have a harder time fixing bad habits.
I whey 90kg but people stay im light to lift doing my head in
Should I feel sore after a strength workout?
