The guy who first tries to lift the hammer (right before this scene starts) is Joe M. Straczynski (famous for making Babylon 5). He wrote the Thor comics for a while, and one of the things he did was to have Asgard end up above the town of Broxton, Oklahoma, with a lot of jokes about Asgardians and Okies dealing with each other.

Check out the Man at Arms build. Despite using sheet metal, their version of Mjolnir weighed 20 lbs. If they had made it solid, it would have been over 200 lbs. Easy way to weed out those who are not worthy :D

I remember this scene and how excited I got when a I saw Coulson. I was like: "OMG is the same Agent of Iron Man's movie!! That's mean this heros are in the same Universe!!! And they could meet each other in a same future movie 😨😬🎆" and well, the first time a watch the Avenger's trailer and movie got wet 😆😂

This whole scene is just a vibe.

Of course shield would shut down the fun. Look at how much fun everyone’s having! There’s Booz, a guy making hotdogs, and entertainment!
