In 2020, I voted against Trump. Biden wasn't my first, second, or third choice. But in 2024, I'll be voting for Biden. I have finally noticed that more and more Americans are now speaking up and showing up to tell their story that they may have voted for Trump but now see that Trump is unfit to hold any public office. I’ve also seen a few couples give interviews saying Trump is unfit but they’ll vote for him anyway. 🤯😳 there is cracks in the cult but we must continue to speak to those that have fallen down that rabbit hole. Like a lot of things in the Constitution, it's an archaic leftover that Republicans are able to use to distort democracy in their favor. Try to remember the Electoral College has been in place a very long time. Back when voting was not electronic or reported in a matter of days. Rural areas weren't immediately accessible and it helped even up representation between remote, rural areas (in the south and west) and more urban populations in the north and east. It still has a purpose so that the country isn't run by NYC, LA, Dallas, Chicago and Miami voters only.

When my mom was alive she was so fed up with Republicans. She passed in 2020 but was totally angry at the party and did wantbwant to vote for any of then. She was a life long Republican for 96 years but in the end was totally fed up.

Don't forget Nikki Haley said she would pardon Donald Trump. I'm wondering what her last minute message will be.

What percentage have a higher degree; bright, educated GOPers are embarrassed by the dude. Embarrassment is kryptonite to a cult leader.

The people who will vote for Trump in the face of all we know about him will be like my sister and my mother - two people who don't really care enough about politics to be engaged enough to fully realize what they're doing and just always vote for the candidate with an "R" beside their name, no matter what. The only way you’ll get through to them is to find out what they DO care about & point out to them that voting for a narcissistic sociopath is going to affect that. For example, if they’ve ever had someone cheat on them before, ask them if they think that person is trustworthy, and then point out that the flabby adulterer has cheated on 3 wives so he’s THREE times less trustworthy than the person they hate for cheating on them.

And, even after they divorced, my sister still maintained a relationship with him, again, knowing that he was a narcissistic sociopath. Tim Miller is awesome. I'm a traditional Catholic conservative and anti-Trump. I'm personally opposed to gay marriage, abortion, etc, but Tim has a realism and sincerity about him that I truly admire. Such a good guy who realizes people can have differences of opinion without being nasty to each other.

I’m a republican and voted for Trump in 2016 even though my daughter was educating me about Trump. I so regret that vote and I apologize for my ignorance. When Ohio had a chance to vote, Nikki Haley had already removed herself as a potential candidate. I voted for her anyway. Come November, I will not waste my vote on any Republican running. I will vote for Biden. I hope that in time, Trump is held accountable for ALL his crimes. AND punished to the FULL extent of the law. I wouldn’t be surprised that there are many more criminal acts that are hidden.

Joe has been an amazing president. Strongest economy in the world. Very low unemployment, inflated prices coming down. Joe would have fixed the border, but Dump told the Repubs not to put that bill through. He'd rather let border states suffer, than give Joe the credit for fixing the border. Trump only thinks about himself.....not the country...or he never would have done that.

Things like Our Healthcare system going down the drain, Our Economy needing stabilizing, Our infrastructure needing fixing, things a president is supposed to be at the head of. Not the whole world. Imho it’s due to Trumps people who consider politics a lifestyle and a reflection of their self worth. Most of those individuals are undereducated, lack critical thinking and analysis skills, are being constantly fed misinformation by a closed social media ecosystem that only feeds them what they want to hear, and they lack the emotional maturity, self awareness, and self reflection to admit when they may be mislead or wrong.

Isn't the votes for Haley similar to the votes for Uncommitted against Biden. A protest vote against Trump, but they might still vote for him. We can't get too excited about that news...yet.

Way more Haley votes than Uncommitted votes in the Dem primary. Additionally, Haley voters are in between Trump and Biden; Uncommitted votes are usually more progressive (more left) than Biden. To get to Trump on the far right they'd have to come back past Biden. Biden has a lot more chance of converting some of the Haley votes than Trump has of getting any of the Uncommitted.
