Just IMO, knocking down walls wouldn’t be ideal in a long run. You’ll require to do revamp renovation again (Spending money & looking for accommodation when home is going through another reno) should either parents require to move in or you have children planning in near future. No doubt knocking down walls, removing shower in the common bathroom is a dream for everyone. It’ll be a hassle in a long run. Legit. Solely IMO. Apologise if my comment may be quite straight forward didn’t paint a nice picture of it.
