Life with CP | Going to the Orthotist
In this video we share Dallas' life with CP, and getting casted for new AFOs. Cerebral palsy, or CP is a physical disability that affects how a person moves, posture, and balance. Dallas wears AFOs to help support her foot and ankle during walking. Orthotics are used by many people with CP. Today we are getting fitted and in a few weeks, Dallas' new braces will be ready with her cool new design she picked!

Love the Oh Canada!! And the matching red straps and padding will look amazing. I have a knee brace for my left knee (for when I workout) but it’s only black. Would love to be able to find a cute, colorful one!

I wear a afo on my right leg
12:17 I love to get stickers when I was little but they don’t have stickers were I live just normal ones u have to get your self from a shop never big ones like that😊.
If I get a stimulus, I’ll be getting flowers or butterflies with pink strap😊
Hey now, Canada is great. Sometimes… 😂 looks like they also had the Canucks which is oddly specific (Vancouver’s hockey team)

Also love the orthotist, he seems awesome! I also sit-ski. It’s so much fun. For the patterns they have much better options than here!

Oh this is so cool! I’m hoping Dallas would be able to try this one day! I don’t know if they have adaptive ski close to us though
My last brace was butterflies. In the future I will probably still have some sort of animal theme, because I a, a veterinarian! As a Canadian I highly approve of the Canada braces though! We don’t even have that option at my bracing clinic. 😂
