This is why I think it's important that those of us in our mid thirties and early forties still be vlogging. Becausee processing these things are thoughts we are not alone in! Btw idk if you’re into nyc vlogs but if so, you might like mine! I’d be sooo grateful if you swung by and took a peek. 🙏 Stick around if you like!

I’m glad you said this because the other day a girl who is in her 20s said vlogging is not for women who are in their 30s or 40s and that it’s totally cringe for women in their 30s or older to vlog. As a woman in her 30s, it made me so annoyed.

@AlexisBelon I think it's great for every age to vlog because the Internet is vast with people of all ages using it. There's a woman who vlogs on YT that is 65. Although I'm not at that age I think it's great that there are people on the platform for people in that age group to identify with. I've also seen skin care routine for 60+ and I'm just like that's great older people are using these platforms more for lifestyle vlogs.

@@Makemoneywithabena some people think they have everything figured out and they offer opinions that no one asked for… when I hear people say what people at any age should or shouldn’t be doing it reminds me of how much we still need to learn about the development / evolution of the soul. It takes lifetimes. And part of that is connecting with others in whatever way makes sense for us wherever we are at that time. Has nothing to do with the number of age. It is underdeveloped to think so and actually say it out loud.

@@soufwesthoustontx thanks for your insightful response. The sad thing is, this girl has thousands of followers and many of them are over the age of 30 but no one called her out for it. I’m rooting for anyone who chooses to live life on their own terms. Thanks again for your thought provoking comment.

Love this! In retrospect, I see how God planted hobbies and interests in my heart to help me maintain a spirit of contentment. I roller skated, brewed kombucha, made ceramics, and baked from scratch. Hobbies are indeed a gift to us!

Wow Maya! I have been so anxious about turning 40 this year, but having you back on KZread and watching you grow but also bring the same fun, youthfulness that you've brought since I've been following you has been such a relief! It let's me know I can grow into this new season without sacrificing who I am authentically at my core. I cannot express how much light and positivity you bring into the world. The bread turned out amazing and had my mouth watering! I'm currently writing my first novel and would love for you to share your writing process like writing software, outlining, motivation and everything in between if you're able to! Sending you all the love and sunshine from Arizona!!!🌵🏜🌈 ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

Great job on the bread making Mya! I enjoy break bread moments. I made bread 2 time in my life. And it turned out great. My ancestors did not measure. I don't measure when I bake or cook. I eyeball it Just Luke my Mathmatical ancestors did.❤❤❤

Funny story. Sourdough bread is one of my favorites. And my mom was a pretty good baker. So every year I’d ask her to make me two things- sourdough bread and gingerbread. Welp I guess she got tired of making it cuz … I got sick as a dog. Idk what happened but the sourdough bread came out bad. I think when making the starter from scratch, it can only sit for so long before it goes bad. So be careful with that sourdough! Ijs.

I never comment on videos but nu måste jag säga något... I've been watching your videos since the beginning (also, you're a big inspiration for me going natural) and I like how I somehow always feel represented by you, but girl.. the similarities are starting to get creepy 😂 I laughed so much in this video because not only I'm also married to a swede that also does intermittent fasting, and once I moved here I started baking so much more. Croissant, scones, rolls, focaccia is my next baking project hahaha I recommend you try baking kanelbulle, I make and keep it frozen so we can have freshly baked whenever we want. Ps: would love to know your hair routine, mine is in need of good curly hair products, I accept recommendations and suggestions hahah Ha det så bra! 🤗
