Something I think you could do is whenever the chorus for Open your heart plays is this. “Can’t hold on much looooongerrrr… LIVE AND LEARN! I know it’s a one way train….. LIVE AND LEARN!” This would better incorporate the two lyrics together

I can see (more like hear) what you’re thinking, sounds like a good idea. Maybe a remix is needed (I could add another song)

It’s good, but it feels messy. It feels like the two songs are fighting to see who’s gonna dominate my ears. I think make some tweaks to make them flow more smoothly and not just play over each other. But I still like it and it’s a good remix

I have the instrumental versions of the songs playing when the opposite song is playing with its vocals, that’s why you get that sense of them playing over each other

My favorite part of making this song is when they yell at the same time at the end of

very great man

I know it’s a dumb idea, but what if you have the lyrics of one song playing while the instrumentals of another with the same or similar emphasis on certain parts?

Might not be what you’re talking about but one issue with that is how it puts emphasis on certain parts of the vocals when it doesn’t for the instrumentals, so you’d need to find two songs that are (for example) 4:4 and 4:4

@@MAYTREW sorry, if the volume spikes at the fourth beat on the second verse and the vocals don’t it will probably sound weird (no clue how you avoided that but i need to know), so you’d need one where there in emphasis on the second beat of every verse for both vocals and instrumentals (i think)

Maybe, put the letters of the two songs together, Like..., moments of "Live and Learn" after a verse of the letter of "Open tour heart". Using the idea of other comment in This section, put the *LIVE AND LEARN*, before of: "theres no hay I can lose", BUT, with the fact of It (the song) needs to use just ONE rhythm, and no two at the same Time (that make It sound out of tune). I don't know what you think 🕳️.
