books are necessary. important, really. i respect all aspects of literature and have enjoyed reading interesting novels since i was a child. but dear God, this book is so far the most boring book ive ever had to read for school. no offense. gotta be honest yk

I've seen the movie and was pleasantly surprised coming across this audio. Up to this part I found it quite boring, now 1/5th into this part it's gotten heavily religious. This annoys me, I am not shy of admitting I think the concept of a god rather ludicrous and religions I see as hypocritical big business. The hugest mistake mankind has made throughout history is the insistence of a higher power. I know the movie sublimely worked god into it. However if this books continues on this religious theme, I will not last long and the only praise I'll maintain for this now nonsensical book will continue to be that biologically evolved majestic tiger. Can't stand religious propaganda.

The only reason you do not like this book is because it involves religion? This "propaganda" is not even shoved like real lgbt propaganda in movies, news, mainstream media, etc. If this optional book with some religious content makes you think it's "propaganda" you have not been around for the past 10 years in the mainstream media.
