oh my gosh this tree house and the people who built it are so lovely. I’m planning on traveling solo in taiwan next spring for some time, I’m definitely going to check this place out. I’m so glad you and danna got to enjoy it together 🌱:)

I was born here but my parents immigrated from Taiwan. i haven't been able to go back for the past 4 years because of life circumstances even though i used to go every summer while i was growing up. something about this video made me feel like i was viewing my homeland with a fresh set of eyes. i saw the beauty in all the little things that i feel like i would not usually notice: the little stools made from cut logs, air drying plums with a little fan on the floor, the warmth/fondness the hosts had for the place they built. it moved me to tears. i miss home a lot. thank you for giving us a glimpse into your time together with Danna. truly so special!

THAT FOREST IS STUNNING AND THE ARCHITECTURE AND COLOR PALLET OF THOSE HOUSES IS INCREDIBLE, I'm so happy you got to experience such a magical place🥰

Ohhh I lived in Taiwan for three years and came back to France a couple of months ago and I miss it so much 🥺 it’s honestly such a lovely peaceful little heaven with incredibly kind and generous people. Taiwan is definitely the country of my heart 💜

The ROC was founded PRIOR to the founding of the PRC. That fact alone extinguishes any claim China thinks it has over Taiwan.
