Patience and good planning will payoff. Many moons ago before we came to the USA in 1969, my father's plan was to leave us in the Philippines for 1 year so he can find a job, buy a used car, then save money so he can afford to rent a house for mother and 7 children. Obviously his plan worked for us after 1 year. We were all able to finish school, buy a house and a new car and everyone had a good job except mother. She was not required to work outside the home. If you and your husband and son are able to wait and have a plan that will work for you, then maybe this too shall pass and eventually you'll have a happier life ahead in a foreign country of your choice. But who knows?? God works in mysterious ways!

Yes Ms. Ems, kaya dapat talaga bago mo kuhanin family mo stable kana. Di kasi ganun kadali dyan. Yan yng sinabi ng mga kaibigan ko.

Ms. Emily tuwang-tuwa ako sa iyo dahil nakikita ko ang kabataan ko sa iyo. Pagdating ko sa US noong 1990 nagtrabaho kaagad ako sa McDonald's para makatulong sa pamilya. After 2weeks pumunta ako sa Post office para mag apply sa California. Pumasa ako sa exam 95.5% ang score ko at correct minus wrong points. Naasar ang human resource manager dahil hindi ako happy sa score ko at sabi sa akin na ang mga kamag-anak nya at mga kaibigan nya yearly nag exam pero hindi maipasa ang exam. Gusto ko kasi 99% at least ang score ko. Self-supporting ako mula bata dahil mahirap kami. Pagdating ko sa London noong 1997 natanggap ako sa US Embassy na Liaison at US Navy Clerk. Sa Grosvenor Square pa noon ang Embassy sa may Hyde Park. Bale 128 ang nag-apply sa position na nakuha ko at mostly sa mga applicants at karamihan double major sila. Ngayon matanda na ako at ang profile picture ko 35 pa lang ako. I wish you all the best in life. Life is full of surprises. Kaya mo lahat iyan. Hi Ms Emily, just be patient. Everything will fall into right place and at the right time. Things will get better soon. If you finish your contract with your current employer, I would suggest you move up North as houses here are absolutely cheaper than South. I used to live down south particularly in Slough and I moved up North to buy a house of my own and never looked back. Better to live in the countryside. I am your subscriber from Newcastle/Gateshead. Just like me po galing din po ako ng Israel at nong February lang po ako dito sa UK, 1 month palang ako dito sa UK pinapunta ko na din po ang family ko, my husband and 2 kids. So far 1 bedroom muna ang kinuha namin. Nkapag work na din po c husband kaya pwde na po kmi kumuha ng 2 bedrooms house. ❤
