Thank you for these excelent videos Tom. To answer the question of what to do to pass the life in the UK test first time, here is what worked for me: Prepared with one week in advance, read the entire official guide once (i took 2 days as it is long). Watched all the videos in order and took a few key notes. Downloaded the life in the UK app and did all the practice tests (16 in total) over and over until I got over 95% in each. The app has very similar questions to the test. Since they vary the way they ask the same question, it is best to read the guide at least once, to understand the information and not just memorize the answers from the practice test. Good luck everyone, hope this helps (took the test 16 Nov 2019)

The app is Life in the UK test 2020, 3rd edition. I got the free version. Do not pay the 5 pounds it asks for, because it is just to have an add- free app and the ads are not a problem.

Life in Uk test is one of the parts of the British citizenship process. Other one is to pass ESOL entry level 3 in English. ( Entry 3 or B1 is Minimum requirement). Then you can submit application for British Naturalisation. That form is available on uk government website www.gov.co.uk As your application is successful you will be informed by letter and then you have to book citizenship ceremony where you will get your certificate. And then apply for passport if you want.

Hello Tom, I passed my test yesterday on first attempt, your videos help me a lot as well as the books, THANK YOU. However something strange happended during the test and I wonder if you know why after the 17/18th question the all the rest came up stating that they were practice questions and that they were not going to account towards my result? They were the last 5 or 6 which I answered all ofcourse but before I realized the test was over, I asked the lady and she said you just finished and I was like mmmm I don't think so as a few questions there were "practice questions" she was like yeah that's fine close the test when you are ready... Why is this Tom do you know? Does it means that before the "practice" questions came up, I had already passed the test? Also some questions I'd say about 4 never saw them neither as part as the 9 episodes of your channel nor in the book/practice questionnaire etc but still 3 of them got them right. Educated guesses I suppose
