I bet the farmers are being paid to cut down the forest. I can’t think of anything else that would motivate them to do that. Sadly everything boils down to money.

Yeah you just have to worry about not dying from the common cold or any illness, weather, starvation, predators, etc. Also have the stress of child birth without modern medicine or the fact children have a much higher mortality rate. Also will only ever know the people in tribe and that’s absolutely it. All of your day will be long hard physically labour and that’s it. But yeah ig no bills to pay 🤦🏻

I feel like that Amish to this is not much of a comparison. These people do not reject modern technology in the strange way the Amish. They live on the land and in the place their ancestors have lived for thousands of years. Not to discount how interesting the Amish are but the Amish have been around for maybe a few hundred years. Such a small piece of time compared to the history of these people. And under completely different circumstances.

They are a beautiful people keep your Traditions alive keep your way of life alive indigenous people are struggling around the world to keep who they are and their ways of life alive
