I agree. I lost a few pets recently, sweet Juliet was 21 years old! but having photos and videos brings comfort and you have lots of video of Mochi so you will always be able to remember her at her best and enjoying life.

I'm so sorry to hear that Mochi has passed. To have been loved and be remembered, is as much as any of us can hope for, and Mochi has been both.

Mochi was so loved and you made a darling hamster's life as amazing as could be. Mochi will always be a part of you. 💖 lots of love to you.

I know how it feels to lose a pet hamster, I lost my hamster/Guinea Pig in 2019, she lived for 7 YEARS. Her name was Peaches (もも). I also lost 2 baby hamsters when I was 7. Stay strong and we all LOVE YOU

Just watched this and.... RIP Mochi 😢 Still remember when she first appeared on your channel, and she was always adorable to watch. I remember how sad I was when I lost my hamsters and guinea pigs (not at once, over the years). Never had another hamster / guinea pig since.

I remembered my dog who died 3 years ago. And every death anniversaries seem like the first day. What a roller coaster of emotions on this video, Hannah. I hope all is well with you.

I know how you feel about the cherry blossoms- I remember as a Queenslander living in Gansu in China in my very first year in 2005, it was such a shock trying to get through what felt like a Siberian winter! Still recall walking out one day and this shock of pink peach blossoms seemed to have erupted overnight in the college I was teaching. Everyone was out and soooo excited that the long, bleak winter was over! Stay safe over there xo

oh damn, I was crying through the whole Mochi segment. That hamster had such a full life and you were the best mom! It made me remember when I lost my first dog Abner and it's always so hard to go through that pain. But at least her suffering has ended and she has ever only known pure love in her short time on earth because of you. Also! You have so many wonderful videos of her so you will have these wonderful memories. I have music videos of Abner and it makes my heart full to watch them now. Many hugs to you!!!

Hi Hannah, thank you for sharing your ups and downs with us, besides the quality of your videos, I just love how I can feel like I am experiencing everything with you! I am so sorry for your lost, I also lost my dog due to a cancerous tumor around her mouth, when we found out it was a little too late to give her surgery (meds where helping a bit but the tumor just kept growing back), so we had to let her go. It must have been hard for you, I know how it feels to not be able to do anything about it. Sending out virtual hugs.

I had a hamster, I named him Chance. He was my favorite pet growing up. Unless you have a teddy bear hamster, you truly don't understand how awesome they are. Chance would chill with me and watch TV, or hang out in my pocket when we went on bike rides. He was such a good sport when I set up little mazes and obstacle courses. A friend until the end. I still miss my hamster. He only lived 2 years as well.

When I was a little boy my hamster passed and I was so sad I didn't want to go to school until my mom assured me that my hamster "Pierre" would want me to go to school... I never forgot Pierre and still think about him from time to time. I'm sure Mochi would want you to live. your best life ever 🐹
