I don’t ever comment, however, I truly felt the need to for this one. This comment is not for anyone in particular, but rather just a general statement to hopefully educate anyone who may read this. If you don’t plan to live for the rest of your life in Hawai’i, please don’t purchase a home here. Purchasing and subsequently selling or renting adds to the already exorbitant prices of homes. Many children born and raised here can no longer afford to live here due to the continually increasing cost of living. As Iam Tongi stated, we’re all being “priced out of paradise.” I know that this is never done with ill-intention, and I simply hope to help people understand and think about our situation in the islands.
Rent, you'll always have a home in Hawaii.

They took the offer. Did you watch till the end?
It’s good to have a home base, especially one where you can grow a lot of your own food, and a place that you enjoying being in. You can travel the world and have adventures but always have a place to come home to and refresh your spirits and bodies. If you love this home and location, you may find that keeping it will serve you well in the future. Whatever you decide, the very best of wishes for you both. ❤

so true. Its hard to find places that you love and enjoy. Your neighbors will watch out on the property. Just travel, enjoy and then can settle back to relax when you need the break. Stay awesome.

I see your point, but is this really the kind of place you rent? The massive space and garden requires a lot of upkeep. Will renters be willing to take care of it? It would be a shame to see this property get rented to people who don't respect it and give it the attention it deserves. They will probably have to hire a property management company to deal with affairs while they are away. I don't know the laws in Hawaii, but in Ontario here renting is not worth the hassle if you can avoid it.
I love how she was just spitting out food chaotically and he comes in calmly to show a bouquet of herbs ahahahhaha #balance

As an older adult, seeing how all property rises and prices younger ppl out, if you sell, be prepared to not be able to move back there ever.
Seonkyoung, I never saw you take this beautiful property and it's Views for granted, I saw the reverence you and Jacob have for it. Would love for you to be able to hold onto the property, but renting is always a significant challenge, can't wait to hear your decision. Thanks for the update, see you soon!
What i love about all of this for y'all is that y'all did everything together. Every new adventure, good times and rough times, was handled by the both of y'all together both fully accepting and embracing it all together. No one giving up their own passions or dreams to let the other fulfill theirs. But both on this journey towards the same goals and destinations, constantly supporting each other. To find such a life partner is rare.

We are truly lucky & we are so grateful that we found each other❤️
RENT! Do not sell! You will be so happy later on down the road to still have a home if you ever wanted to live there again. And houses are so expensive now! Rent it out!! ❤❤❤
Bella sleepimg on yo says so much about the beautiful energy of your place, I would thonk log and hard about selling it.
It is so bittersweet seeing this video because this property is AMAZING. We are visiting maui next year and if we didn’t have kids that needed beach and pool, I’d want to stay somewhere like your home.
I would rent it in case I ever had a change of heart and would like to return. This property is brilliant.❤
Rent! That property is Beautiful!! Something like that is hard to find really specially in Hawaii! The garden with fresh fruits & vegetables herbs.. it’s so majestic!🤍🤍🤍 hope you reconsider and maybe in the future you can decide.🌸💕🌴
I would rent it out. I've known a few friends who regret selling their houses to travel the word but at the end of the day, you and Jacob do what makes you happy. The house is gorgeous though and the view- gorgeous!
Beautiful! Although, I’m kind of sad that your two dogs were buried there and you chose to sell the house….whatever happened to the pigs and ducks that came with the farm?
Glad to hear you choose to sell. A house can be bought anytime and anywhere but peace of mind and not worrying on maintaining is priceless. My favorite travel author “Pico Iyar” quote - Home does not live outside you. Home lives in your heart. So, where ever you and Jacob go, that is your home ❤

Your house is so stunning. Love the ceiling and natural light. Hope you can rent it to the right people who will care for it. Would love to continue to see your cooking videos in this space. Also I feel property value will go up in the long run, your space will always be in demand.

Congrats on selling the house! Can't wait to see your new adventures. We all LOVE Bella!! We are going to miss her. Did you tell the neighbors she likes sleeping with you guys? And being inside at night? Just make sure you give the neighbors the BELLA RULES!! 😉😉😻😻
So good to have you back ❤
Although your time in Hawai'i was short lived, I'm excited to see what's in store for you and Jacob. Will definitely miss these views of Kahakuloa, Maui in your vlogs. Aloha!
Congratulations on the selling 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I'm looking forward to what is coming in the future for you both
Rent..absolutely rent..is such a beautiful paradise ❤🎉🎵🦋🦋🥳🥳
If the person is a native Hawaiian definitely sell.
Rent out, least you always have a place to come home too if you change your mind. Also regular income coming in. Also, Bella 💜

I think it’s an amazing home. You should keep it! :)

I feel since you and your husband will be traveling in the coming months or years I would sell it because it will be hard to maintenance while you’re traveling especially if your going to be abroad. Whatever decision you and your husband decide on we will surely support you both and good luck to your new adventure 💕💕🤗🤗🌷🌷
Congratulations!!!!
its such a beautiful property.. you seemed to be happy there! I would suggest you hold on to it!
Congratulations 🎊🍾🎈
Beautiful bouquet of herbs❤
Best wishes Seonkyoung and Jacob ❤❤ Bella too ❤
Are you going to leave Bella I hope you take her 🥹 I’m happy for you all 🤗
I hope you're able to recreate that organic salad! Would love to make it! ^^ So brave of you to sell the house. That's like my dream home. 😊 I wish you both all the best and have the best fun times travelling!
Your property is so gorgeous! I would definitely rent it! You won’t regret having a Hawaii investment.
It’s your choice. None of us have to live with the decision. No doubt you will make a decision good for your family and your family’s culture.
Such a beautiful home
I'd rent it out because it seems like it's home and you two have put in so much work into it. Once you guys slow down on traveling where are you gonna end up? Location and real state is so expensive every where. Use it as regular steady income. You can always put it up for sale later.
I did the same thing whe I first tried babybel, plant based too!
Selling or Renting both come with headaches, but at the end of the day, it's up to you. And if travel is your main goal it's one less thing to worry about. Renters always need things done to the house, yes a house will appreciate but peace of mind is worth everything.

You're good people. Sell it to an indigenous family / group at a reduced rate. Hawaiians are being priced out of land that is rightfully theirs.
It’s a gorgeous property!
Omg I did the same thing when I tried that plant based cheese!! It was soooo bad lol. Congrats on your offer!!
Keep and rent!!
I am glad God brought your videos to me. ❤
Genuinely happy for you and Jacob and the life you’ve both built and for the future memories to come! Your life, your choices. Opinions of others are irrelevant to your happiness! Love you both! ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful home
I hope the next owners love Bella as much as you guys!
Can you please share how you take care of your skin? Your skin is amazing!!
Keep this home. And just rent it out. At least you'll always have a home in Hawaii. A place you can always come back to.

Rent only. You need a back up plan where you can come back & rest any time you need.
I thought i would like that cheese too since my coworker would hype it up then i tried it and couldnt help but spit it out as well lol Best wishes to both of you in your new adventures. The home and property are dreamy and looks so peaceful. Where will you go next?
Rent it! But be sure you have someone good in caring for your home And making sure it's not destroyed !
Helping a local business with an already established and built to code food truck is awesome. That babybell is a must to avoid after seeing both reactions. Personally I would have rented the property but I understand the challenges of that. I hope the next owners love that land as much as you both did and don't just make it into an Air BNB like so many other homes have become.
Sell it. Home is where Jacob is no matter where it is. You may fell in love with other places during your travel and it is more flexible for you to stay longer or shorter.
Love how you use wine glass for champagne 🍾 lol
Congratulations on selling your Maui home! 🎉 You can buy a new house anywhere you choose next. In the US people are so attached to their homes, staying there forever. When my mom in law moved after 46 years, she realized how old and dated her “amazing to her” house had become. And she paid 1/3 of sale in capital gains. Ouch. Same thing happened to my mom, keeping her house for 42 years. Very boomer mentality. Took 4 weeks to clean out their stuff they had accumulated which neither wanted to deal with (or pay upwards of $10k+ to have a professional declutterer do it). Not fun for the kids who have to deal with it. With Gen X & younger, we like adventure & to see the world. I’ve found that moving once every 8-10 years keeps things fresh and is never boring. It’s also long enough to have made good memories, yet long enough to move on to something new. It forces one to declutter, benefit from tax-free capital gains, never get complacent, try out new paint/decor/furnishings and learn new neighborhoods. Best wishes on your next adventure! 🎉🌺🌞
I say rent....when you are done travelling the world you will want to settle down and this home is the perfect spot....you probably couldn't get such a home or location down the line Just wondering why you asked when you already sold?

I think if it’s been listing for very long time and finally got an offer, in todays market you SHOULD sell. I feel like Oahu is more competitive than Maui unless you live here very long time then maybe hold it, but if you want to move on to other locations, sell it then rent somewhere. Have you guys think about living in Malaysia, Singapore or Thailand? It’s more adventure than the US definitely and you can just rent some place temporarily without buying or committing. That’s my plan to retire in a couple of years. Good luck ❤

The listing says it was built in 2014. How is that old?
I would rent it if you can afford to do so. Its a beautiful property!
Recipe for the curry!
Congrats on selling the house. Missing Bella already.

rent! you can always go back! ❤
You going to sell a place that grows Thai basil and kafir lime leaves? Please tell me you guys are going somewhere else that grows those things

We found them a new home!
I was very surprised because this seemed like your forever home. The view, climate, location, garden, space, etc... it has so much to offer. Living out of a suitcase is such a different lifestyle. However if you want to take your channel in another direction I can understand this change. No matter what you choose I wish you both happiness. Btw what will happen with all your pets?
Congratulations! I actually think selling your house is probably the best decision you could have made. It can be very difficult to monitor a rental home when you're traveling and not around often. It would put damper on your freedom for sure. My parents in law used to own rental homes. It was difficult for them at times to keep their properties nice, even living in the same area as the homes were located. All it takes is 1 bad tenant to create problems while you're out trying to enjoy your travels.

Thank you so much for sharing! We will consider that...
just rent.. we dont know what will happen at the future right.. just doing appreciated for what you've been received whole your life.. so.. just keep rent !!
100% rent, it's always good to have a house as an investment
Mainlanders moving to Hawaii run up housing costs and make housing completely unaffordable for the natives whose families have lived there for generations! A lot of natives live in their cars. Watched documentaries and newscasts about this problem and it is very heartbreaking! Some people don’t have a humanitarian bone in their body!
Rent. Your house is so so beautiful. 🥰😍❤

If you can, you should lease it long term...So you can always back one day...passive income...
Sell to a native Hawaiian family. Born and raised on Maui. Not to foreigners.
Thant should be a vacation home. Like Airbnb

Rent it out for a few years. That would give you a chance to try another opportunity. You may end up with bigger and better life.
If I were you I would sell, listed at $1.57mio is a good price. Maybe you'll get to live in another country for a while as you start to travel around and find lovely places and experience something new. Good luck with the sale.
