Hi my friend. This is the first time I see one of your videos and I have to tell you....I loved it ; all of it !!! You offered so much information ,still without going into too much detail . And the way you talk....very cheerful , letting us know how genuinely happy you are in that country. You come across very humble , and very intelligent , kind person...It's just very inspiring to hear you describing general aspects of life there , to the point of making us want to go to Ecuador and have the wonderful experience of living in such an interesting , humble, down to earth country. Especially I loved when you mentioned how simple it is to rent a room or place to stay , without having to pay two or three months in advanced etc. Wonderful. To be fair, there are produce markets and farm co-ops in America but they are not very widespread. They definitely are not available to everyone and probably not convenient for most people in America.

Anything imported will be the normal price or higher, so that applies to cars. The gasoline is subsidized by the government so it's much cheaper in Ecuador. I don't really know about the healthcare because I have never needed it. 😁

I’m a born and raised Ecuadorian, I just disagree you calling Ecuadorian food disappointing. I understand that you’re vegan so as that you don’t have too much options. We basically love any kind of protein, so you can find stews, baked pork, even plantain maggots are yummy if well prepared, also things like just potato tortillas, or like muchines made from yuca. I think you just haven’t met the right street vendors yet. Good video btw.

There are options like choco protein, machica, pinol, amaranto, great source of protein. Lots of vegetales and fresh food.

She said that people who look for a variety of specialty products, can be dissapointed in Ecuador, in that sense, I agree.
