I LOVE IT! I am a born and raised Canadian and you two have really nailed it! I watched your video while having my morning break and it was excellent! Yes, it is difficult to get a job here, so much paperwork and red tape - probably due to heavy employment regulation making everyone's life difficult - both the employers and the job seekers. I am a former business owner and I cannot agree more about your statements around "Canada limits you", "Canada doesn't want you to be rich", "Canada doesn't encourage business". This is my experience, however, many Canadians would be hurt by these statements, they don't want to believe them and they will defend the heavy taxation and regulation here. Canadians are defensive about comparison to the USA and they feel that life is superior here, north of the border. I have friends that are in business that have moved to the USA and they would NEVER return and try to run a business in Canada after experiencing the USA. Canada does limit your success and financial wealth, there is no doubt. There was a recent Financial Post article that listed products/services in Canada that were the most expensive in the world - housing, travel, cell phones etc. So, I agree as well that we have higher costs of living here. I grew up in small town Canada, 5 hours' drive from a city. The friendliness/snobbery has a city/rural divide. I think city living is more unfriendly than a small town. Is living in Canada worth the hype? I am not sure! I'm used to it, and don't know a lot else. Great video and content, and great energy!

I'll never get used to a car waiting for me to cross the road though, Never. I'm always so scared especially when I (the pedestrian) have right of way and there are 10 cars coming, they all stop in a single file until you have crossed. you wouldn't dare imagine that in Nigeria. LOL! Thanks a lot for this video, I thought that it was me, but you confirmed a lot things I noticed about living here. And I say this a someone from a Jamaican family who was born here. Point number one is spot on, Canadians like to think of themselves as nice and friendly. But it's more being polite than anything else.

Life is not about amassing money for yourself. What matters is for you to be able to pay your bills and live a comfortable life. If you are lucky to be super rich, good for you .Expectation of more wealth is the reason African countries are riddled with corruption and fraud. Do your work, pay your tax and get value for the tax paid is enough as far as I am concerned. A country where you pay tax but still have to install your own inverter to get electricity, sink borehole to get water and still pay big school fees but without value for it but instead strike and strike every now and then. You only know when you enter school but can’t guarantee your graduation date. Peaceful and comfortable life is good for me. Life is not about eating and drinking alone. Canada, here I come.

Young people are adventurous. They want to see the world outside of their parents' environment that they didn't chose to live in and that's a good thing because it shows drive and independence. The living at home until you get married isn't exciting or adventureous. Live your life on your terms is the new norm. Parents and family members want way too much power over the young people. Leave them alone already. If you raised them right, then you've done your job well and should trust that they'll make the right decicions on their own. They're not your property.

Yes, is true. I used to live in East York and to get my first IT Job took me almost 5 months. Now, my advice to people who wants to go to Canada 🍁, have 5 plus certifications, Professianal courses on top of your qualification if you don't want to do the low skill job like factories etc. You better driver, and if you got a higher category licence better. This will help bypass, silly barriers and jump straight to an opportunity, sometimes it is not that you not good at all, the truth is the corporate companies you will apply they are top, but they re cheap labour, they want to see if your equiped enough to be a slave that carries 3 peoples Job roles.

But Canada has that. Same as the States. The only difference is Canada's money 💰 looks different. Canada and USA politicians are different too. Basically the same. People worry to much about dating. If you want to meet some one maybe go out with some friends and have a good time but don't worry about it.

STOP DISCOURAGING PEOPLE !! life is not easy anywhere !! NO MATTER . the number is the KEY. the more you"re numerous , the more you"ll be in force and create a strong community. look INDIANS , they help themselves , and they"re everywhere in CANADA, it is a FORCE for them !! so HELP your BROTHERS and SISTERS to enter CANADA , that's all. after you'll help yourselves to be a community there , and you'll have a height in this country.

I disagree with you. If not for bad leadership and leaders no country in the entire world is a sweet as Nigeria. If all things was working I will never trade Nigeria for any other country. Nigeria is more than blessed, there is a strong sense of community lifestyle. It's just corrupt and bad leaders that is spoiling Nigeria. There are people who have a lot of money and celebrities in Nigeria who will never leave Nigeria to any other country. It's the average people that usually run from Nigeria expecting to see heaven in other countries only to get disappointed when all they have is snow and flowers.

Many rich people are leaving Nigeria now. Many houses in magodo are empty and under lock and keys. However all things being equal, Canada is much better in terms of safety. At least, nobody will kidnap you for ransom or something meaningless. No case of starvation for days. Omoh, Nigeria is worse now than ever before. Even the communal love and care that defined us and overall empathy is fast disappearing. People are fast becoming very sadistic and insensitive by turning pressing issues into jokes for all. Too sad. May we experience the beautiful part of Nigeria, May the evils of Nigeria not happen to any of us in Jesus name, Amen.

There's no such thing as 'the perfect' country! Every country on this planet has issues! But the way I see it, if you intend to emigrate to another country, and are willing to play by its rules, work your ass off, pay taxes and stay out of trouble then yes! You can make it work and live, potentially, anywhere. Also, each experience is different! Best advice is to visit a country first, on holiday, before you make such a Big Decision! But yes, there is no such thing as a Free Lunch! And unfortunately, a lot of Western countries are becoming more and more reserved and conservative! Because immigration and emigration are hot, controversial topics!

@@lylesmith8632 Canada has its fair share of problems but, out of the countries I've visited thus far, Canada is definitely one of the nicest! Canadians, by and large, are sooo chillaxed! However, as with lots of other countries, I did see homeless immigrants on the streets begging... So I guess if this problem continues, I fear that, in time, some Canadians will become just as openly bigoted as some Americans, British, Europeans and Australians... Rampant immigration does have a tendency to stretch the tolerances, good will and patience of a country. So can you really blame them?
