Guess what I realized yesterday while scoring the short film I’m currently working on?
The music I was using for a particular scene didn't quite fit. So, I decided to try it out on the love scene at the movie's end, and wow, it set the perfect tone!
I achieved the sound using a guitar DI signal through a Fuzz Face and a Plexi Emulation, just like the last cue I shared.
You can hear multiple guitar parts - two mid-pans and two hard pans.
Here's the breakdown of the other guitars' signal chain.
For mid left and right - guitar DI → BigMuff → Fender Blackface and guitar DI → BigMuff → Marshall Slash AFD100
For hard left and right - guitar DI → OCD Fulltone → Vox AC30TB and guitar DI → OCD Fulltone → Dr. Z MAZ 18 Jr.
All amps and pedals are from Amplitube MAX.
The drums and bass are powered by #ModoDrum and #ModoBass also from @ikmultimedia
