i like simple this strategy i am going to backtest. Is like, one shot one kill setup of ICT but it is intraday. That sound like a nice idea for a video. A weekly setup to take a trade for more than a day, looking for more points, with low risk, for funded challenge may not working but with personal account, will be great. Mr Jered, at 7:53 , about Rule 2, you say that you are waiting whether the price will go toward or away from the MOP. If it moves away from the MOP do you go Long, for instance, in the case above?

You could almost always it attackes the liquidity if it doesnt move twoards the mop but I havent backtested it.... This setup is for the move twoards the mop only tho

Probably not ... You need to be able to see the displacement the 3 min is the best for this but I have tested so I'm not sure

That was a decent mechanical yet discretionary trade model idea. I have something similar - where its not a 3 step process but a 4. I keep the consolidation & accumulation as separate. And 2:45 to 3:30 where we get the chance to enter to make the high or low of the 4h po3 ( 2am to 6 am )

Nice I like time based strategies alot they are definitely my favorite and then add some kind of market structure to it ... You use it on a 4 hour ... PO3 I'll have to look into that I like the idea

Most of the move happening before 5/5:15 and market might be laggy there after - Friday you had your low of 4h by 3:04 with your 3 am breaker. On Thursday- LQ sweep was just at the start - so i did not catch the long, however i caught the short after 3:25 an high was created - with your 3:44 fvg as entry and turtle soup after. Just a few examples. I am still studying all of it live - and how i got my first funded account. Other than that, I appreciate your videos and posts on twitter. ❤️❤️🙏🏼

You don't need daily bias cause we are taking a trade not holding for very long ... Correct if below it's a long trade and if above it's a short

Hey Jered, so based from my understanding so far, if MOP is below then we look for an inefficiency or FVG to go long between 8:30-8:40 and vice verca correct? I noticed this video was released last month, backtesting it right now as of 1/23/24. Am I just seeing this wrong but it looks like it’s not working as much again, am I off with this?

I caught a few these last couple weeks ... I have an older video on this that breaks it down ... If below MOP you want to see equal 1 hours highs above the MOP and then see a Fvg on the 3 min form with price moving towards the MOP ... You will only get 1-2 of them a week but they work

I agree with you that AMD never quite fit on indexes. Do you trade forex also? Because on Forex AMD seems to. do as ICT originally taught it . I really like how you modified it for indexes as I was trying to figure this exact thing out. ❤

I used to trade forex but once I saw my forex funds get exposed, I was like they all just the spreads though so then it kinda clicked in my head that oh they're all doing the same thing they're all manipulating the price to ensure traders fail so since that day I haven't traded forex

Got 2 questions: (1) I trade the asian session set up leading to London open. Do you do live session at these times? (2) Are we allowed to trade the news using Bulenox EOD?

I dont trade that early and yes you are allowed to just make sure you trade the news in the eval too their rules only state that you must trade in a consistent manner in the eval and live account

the reason for that 1h shift on the indicator might be cause the indicator might have -4est as the time and not -5 as it it now

Hi Jered I was just doing some backtesting of this setup on ES for the 30th of November. I know you say there is a strict rule that the displacemnet needs to occur between 8:30am and 8:45am, but this happend about 6 minutes later on the 8:51am candle and still seemed to play out. Woudl you to take this and why not if it is outside the time window? Thanks

It happened on nq on the 30th as well but it did it in the window ... I actually took the one your talking about but I wouldn't unless ES or NQ did displace in that time frame ... The reason why is alot of times it goes and runs liquidity away from the MOP

Hey Jered, thanks for this video. Incredible strategy. Want to make sure I am conceptualizing things correctly - was today (12-20) an example of a Bearish set up? The way I played it was to note price on MNQ was below the MOP at 8:30. It then pushed above it, consolidated, and then had the huge sell-off in the afternoon.

Yes today was one but it was a bullish one so instead of playing the PO3 setup we are trading the manipulation to the MOP like I say in the video my view of Power 3 is different instead of thinking that the manipulation is the move after reaching the power of three I believe the manipulation is taking place when it is moving to the midnight opening price... As you see it about 8:30am starts ripping towards the midnight opening that to me is the manipulation and that is the setup the 8:30am to 8:45am is the window for IPDA to take control and then show her hand which should be a fair value gap forming

Was this in effect today? I played bounces off the Midnight Open on a 30 minute chart all day and passed an Apex eval in one sitting. Loaded up contracts like I knew what I was doing lol.

If there is news at 8.30 or after, does The strategy work?

If there is high impact news I ignore the huge candle and it works just like normal but always wait until the volatility calms down

Also I wanted to ask why you have Asia Session from 6pm til 5am and London from 5am til 830 am? What are the session's times and function in this strategy if we''re just looking for displacement towards the MOP at 830am? Sorry if I missed it.

It makes it easier to identify the overnight session and then The 5 am until 930 is pre market and usually will see a run on it as you have seen from the live streams

Depends on the news events on Thursday there was news but I was still able to catch an ice straight out of it depends on the market reaction if it's like insane goes 50 to 100 points and probably avoid it

When you doing your back testing I'm sure I've mentioned this to you before but the strategy disappeared when they did the spring forward time change and then now it's came back once they did the fall back so anything before the fallback is going to not be accurate just FYI

If price displaces away from MOP does that mean go the other way for trade

No it's not part of the Slip n Rip ... But with that being said it does often attack the liquidity and offer a decent trade but I haven't backtested it

I created it like that. It's A+ certain market environments it shows up more which is in a down market for some reason . I've got lots of other strategies for scalping on here too but I wanted a setup that I could go all in on. Mainly That I could trust I've seen only 2 loss using 1hr Equal H/L on the other side of the MOP and displacement on a 3 min ... 8:30- 8:45 between November 7th 2022 - March 14th 2023... Once the daylight savings happened it stopped working .. now it's back I haven't taken an L on it yet since November 7th - till now It's a setup that works 9/10 times .. I would go full port all risk make 10k Everytime it came around ... You could widen the time frame to 8:30- 9:00 and then get more trades but I cant speak on the win rate

I wouldn't say bullshit persay, but I disagree with the way it is being taught and its backwards. Accumulation > Manipulations ? makes no sense; its manipulated then accumulated below the mop and then distributed into the close

No it's not a liquidity based strategy at all You simply looking for price if it is above the MOP and you're looking for it in between 8:30 and 8:45 on a 3-minute chart to see it cause of fair value gap in that direction of the midnight opening and then you want to see equal lows on the other side of the midnight opening and the second video I have a picture of the exact rules for the strategy on there check it out
