Thank you for the breakdown, your content keeps making it easier for me to understand how trading works in general. My question now is how can I approach the market at best if l'm still a newbie with no trading experience?

Firstly you should create your trading strategy, second is your system that has an hedge and lastly you need to have a proper trading psychology. You need all 3 to reach profitability, without having these 3 you just might not be profitable

Just understanding that the right energy in your life is one gem I get from this guy
The emphasis on mentorship and practice over just jumping into the market is spot on. It's not about luck; it's about strategy and discipline. 💪

Great seminar!
i agree with Doc! you have to find what strategy/setup makes sense to you the most and trade that. become an expert at it and make it work for you. makes perfect sense! ... way to go doc!
Outstanding speaker. Loved the part that said study oneself. You are already the person you’re going to become
Thanks as always for the great content.
Really great presentation. The most interesting part was around the 4 minute mark - I would have loved a good question on preparation in the Q&A. "In every performance field there is more time spent practicing and learning than actually performing" - Biggest golden nugget in the hour
Thankyou for this great lecture 🎉

My favorite trades are longs into retail shorts stopping out. My best trades are within the first 15 minutes after the open.

Great insights ! Dr. Brett Steenbarger mentioned about low volatility creating on average more reversals, is that because true momentum creates a sustained directional volatility and without it, stocks tend to reverse to the mean ?

Nice share. His book had a major impact on my approach toward markets many, many years ago.
great speech, but even if someone listen to this 5 times, he or she will not make money. Making money is a mindset, losing money and keep losing it is also a mindset- its a battle between you vs you ! minimum skills and practice are inevitably important else u will lose your kidneys but money wont come
Good to hear you sir. May I know what will be ideal chart time frame we can use for scalping.
I have been following the pronouncements made by Brett Steenbarger which never dissapoint because they are so regularly entertaining and freshly naive.😁

5% of 1 million or 100 million is a lot different than 5% of $100 or $1,000.. The hedge funds main advantage is they can wait retail investors out and still go home happy everyday while most retailer traders panic sell or don't won't to wait and have their money tied up for 2-3 or 2-3 months. So they sell Take a loss and try another stock happens again and again then they loose confidence or go broke and quit.
