Yes Susan It’s a serious challenge while we declutter but so worthwhile when we see what we got rid of and just did not need. Feeling very lucky to be able to live our life like this 😀👍😎 Thanks for your support 🤩

Have you ever worked out how much you have lost swapping all these vans. Your currently on your 3rd van in 5 years! Just wondered. Great to see you both.

We’ve not done that calculation. When one buys a “new” van it immediately loses about 20% of the purchase price due to VAT. Next is the price drop due to usage and miles covered plus the “emotional” value of it having been owned before. In the plus side and as a “compensation” for the loss in value we get to use the van and travel to places and meet people. This experience is priceless. However, having said all that I think it probably works out to about £450 a month.

It’s so hard to de-clutter! Are you selling the boat and going back full time van life?

Yes we are selling Beatrix and returning to our first live of Motorhome life full time We will spend a couple of 90 day periods in Spain and Sweden and the alternating 90 days in the uk travelling around various sites and towns. I think we are over the hump with the downsize and declutter in terms of emotional attachment. So we should be OK
