It seems not matter how many times I repeated something during the end sequence a few have misunderstood. Let me be clear. I wasn’t talking about being poor. I wasn’t taking about being unemployed. I wasn’t talking about disability that prevents work. I wasn’t talking people that work hard and struggle and still cannot make ends meet (hello, been there!) I was talking about people (able-bodied people) that choose to spend their ENTIRE LIFE NOT WORKING yet expect the world to owe them something. These aren’t people that cannot work, these are people that CHOOSE not to work. Thats what I was talking about and I repeated it several times to make sure it was clear. I grew up with a very hard working parent that could never really make ends meet. But she did her best and she was an amazing mother. Throughout my life i’ve been poor, in debt, struggled and did jobs I really didn’t want to do. Thats what most people do. They go to work. There are many many reasons why some people cannot work. But those aren’t the people I was referring to. And 90% realised that. Again, I made it very clear what I was referring to. Its a shame when you have to explain a situation over and over just to make sure that you’re understood only to realise - BOOM! You’ve bene misunderstood!

Completely agree. In the US those who work are taxed and pay for thoae who don't. I don't mind veterans, the elderly, disabled, and temporary benefits for anyone else. What is annoying is those who use the system their entire lives. I am drug tested at my job and I believe anyone receiving benefits should be tested also. And the debit welfare cards should only be able to buy unprepared foods. Using a welfare card at the liquor store should not be allowed. Not fair to the working class.

Who does that though? Who spends their ENTIRE LIFE not working, by CHOICE? That must be pretty rare, assuming we're not just talking about a very young person who simply hasn't grown up yet. And, more to the point, how would YOU KNOW, Wayne, that this is what they were doing? Have you monitored every step of their life, lived their life, walked their path? No. My point is, never assume that you know this is the case for anyone. You don't know that person's full life circumstances. You don't know their inner life, inner workings, inner reasons - not unless you're in a deep, long lasting, close relationship with them, and even then there's a chance you wouldn't know that stuff.

I do know this to be the case for the people I was mentioning. And let me repeat, I wasn't talking about being unemployed, or disabled or some other reason for not having a job. I was talking about able-bodied people that CHOOSE not to work. How do I down this? I know this because I know them. Well. Very well. They are between the ages of 30 and 60 - all 5 of them. Never worked a day in their life. NEVER. Not even a day job. Nothing. Yet the abuse I get weekly about how I should give them money constantly. Its just awful. I've helped and helped and at some point you realise its useless. They are choosing not work. No disabilities. No illness. Not mental health issues. Nothing wrong. Just don't want to work.

I LOVE what Wayne said about the difference between receiving and taking & I am a professional in the human services industry & I would most certainly echo those exact words where warranted because so many people have spent their lives taking & calling it receiving. We see it every single day. I am also so sorry that Wayne constantly has to repeat himself to those who REFUSE to listen to his words and hear the message (regarding those who can work but choose not to & get their support from welfare). It’s not even about how Wayne communicates at this point, it’s about how triggered people are getting by a subject. Triggers are nothing more than something that is unhealed in a person, and it happens to be Wayne that is mirroring that unhealed thing that they possess. C’mon people, if you look inside and heal those things that piss you off so much, they will seize to affect you and you can spend your time actually enjoying his content instead of crying about “what he really meant”

I absolutely love your tutorials on concealing life's changes, Wayne. I'm a young 68 and the shadows under the eye bags and deep creases around the sides of my mouth suddenly crept up on me overnight! I had to practice several times and try and few shades of concealers to get the right shade, but your techniques absolutely work! There isn't anything worse than aging and feeling down about the inevitable changes that occur. Before I knew it, there were sags and bags everywhere one can imagine. And thank you so much for your "ramblings of a madman" closure! I absolutely couldn't agree more! I was out of work one time in my life for a period of 4 weeks while looking for work and going through a divorce, and I even declined spousal support. I've been a lone wolf most of my life, disconnecting from needy clingy so-called friends... you know the type... I'm happiest when I'm alone with my pets, and I keep my appearance up for myself and not for any man. I too have never enjoyed the company of children (today's children anyway). Unfortunately, they are a product of the influences around them and their parents. Sadly, the world has gone mad with its entitlement/safe space mentality. BTW, there's no point in trying to explain your end sequence. Those who don't get it never will. I love you to the moon and back, Wayne... P.S. And pets make better children! Never had children and never wanted them!

@@axotarra I like & own the movie. People who enjoy kids and those who will honor their responsibility to their children by dedicating the time one-on-one and additional resources to them would be better suited as parents. It's not always cut and dry like that though. Also, the divorce rates are high & people divorce their kids not just their spouses. Tons of kids is a no go for me.

😂😂😂 Oh my goodness! I don’t know which I enjoy more, your kick ass makeup advice, or your sense of humor! 👏🏼. And I absolutely agree with you about your work ethic. That’s why it’s called work, it’s most often not enjoyable. I work in HR, and it is so hard for us to find people now who actually want to work, they act as if they are entitled to a paycheck just for showing up. But that said - employers, if you are fortunate enough to have employees who are hard workers, loyal, and reliable, for Goodness’ sake, take care of them! Pay them a livable wage, show and tell them how valuable they are! I feel like we have a lot of work to do on both sides of the employment relationship.

  • @amethystsamia

    @amethystsamia

Heather Graff very well said. Where I’m at, unemployment is so high employers think they can replace you in a heartbeat (and they can) so they give you no value. My son is in that position now. He’s been with this company for several years, he works whatever shift they want, he’s now training new employees and they have not given him more than a tiny cost of living increase. I think his last raise was approximately $0.23 an hour. I was president of my labor union for several years, and I could write a book on it. Both sides. I counseled employees nearly every day on doing their job and doing it right. Then again I had fantastic people who worked hard and who were stomped on by management. But they continued to do their jobs. Lots of work to be done on both sides of the table!

As someone who can't work due to disability, I wholeheartedly agree with everything words you said! I'd love nothing more than to go out and work and so many people have no idea how lucky they are that they can. I worked myself into a wheelchair by the age of 24, working 14 hour shifts in a care home, all whilst have a disability that I was born with. I hated giving up work and it annoys the duck out of me when people who can work just don't, then have the nerve to complain about it.

I've heard myself in that rant! So many times I have said that. Looong story short....looooong time ago, not working - husband wanted a divorce - had small child - next day put out oh i dont know 20 applications - took a job for $6.50 (long time ago - but even then that was low) BECAUSE I HAD A CHILD TO RAISE. He (small child) grown and has a master's degree, working at a "job" for minimum wage and was applying for a year for the dream job....yeah just landed it part-time...still has to work the minimum wage job until he is full time. But that's how HE was raised....Most of us just call it .....LIFE.

Anna Rehbinder YES, exactly!!! It's such a rude thing to push one's opinions about. They don't know anyone else's life and they aren't even considering it. I had a woman persistently ask, and even I told her it was my choice to make, she said very judgementally and directly, "That's sad. That's really sad." I got really angry and said, "Excuse me! No it isn't. It's not sad at all." Honestly it's more sad that people still seem to think children are some kind of endangered species lol They're everywhere.

I worked until I became unable to work. I still volunteer when I can. Even on my worst day I can be kind to someone. I fully agree with you. I believe in working or at least trying to do something positive every day. I’m blessed because my husband works hard and is able to provide. So that gives me the ability to do what I can when my body allows. We can all do something. Even if you think your something doesn’t matter to someone it will. It’s so much easier to be kind. ❤️😊🌹Love your videos and love you Wayne.

I absolutely agree with you on your rant. I got my first job when I was 14 and have been working since. Even as a mom right now, I still work and I am still working on my career goals! I personally have had that issue myself, with people who take take take and ask me for things while sitting idle at home, as if there is something preventing them from working and earning their own keep. And they feel so entitled to my money, as if I owe it to them! They once got pissed off that i “had the audacity” to go on vacation instead of buying them food. I don’t live with these folks, I don’t babysit their kids, and me going on vacation had nothing to do with them but somehow it made me a horrible person. These people were obviously very problematic and toxic in my life, so what do I do now? I stay away from those folks and life is GOOD. Thank you for sharing and for the wonderful tips and tricks! Xx

I very much agree on working! If you’re healthy and able to work... go and do it. You’re responsible for your own income. Of course it won’t always be possible to do your dream job. I started working since I was 14 and finished school at 24. There is so much to learn at work. It’s not even just the money. It’s also the experience, having something to do every day and being socially involved. Never ask anyone for money when you’re too picky to work. I’m happy to help, but in different ways than just giving money. Thank you for your tips on conceiling Wayne! xoxo Aleks

Hi Wayne, I'm a medium dark skin girl with dark, dry under eyes and its sunken. Your concealer tips have been invaluable. I however still struggle to get that brightening effect, and my under eye looks ashy because I have to color correct or else the dark pigmentation peaks through. I've tried luxury to drugstore foundations and concealers the darkness always comes through. My question, how do I color correct to get that brightening effect without my eyes looking ashy? Thanking you in advance. 💖

subeiga benjamin hi lovely. Have you ever tried color correcting with a red lipstick or deep orange concealer? Also make up revolution makes some really affordable setting powders for different skin tones. I think the trick is making sure your undereyes are really hydrated and then working in thin layers. I totally understand wanting to brighten the undereye. But sometimes if we go too light it gives the opposite effect. Sorry for rambling but I hope this helps a little!! Also check out Nyma Tang ‘s and makeupDOLL ‘s channels. They slay color correcting 💞

Sherry, I am in the same boat. I don't understand people who are healthy and refuse to work, as I am sitting on the sidelines wishing I was physically able and feeling guilty for circumstances outside my control nonetheless. And what's even more infuriating is trying to get benefits that I've paid into for 30-plus years and have to fight through government red tape to try and receive, and Mr. Lazy is sitting over there drawing benefits without ever having worked a day/paid a dime into the system in his life. 😠

You are amazing Wayne!! This is my favorite video so far. I love it when you're in a feisty mood like this too lol! And couldn't agree more on your ending comments. I have a spinal injury, and there are several types of work that are not possible for me. I found other work that both suits my spirit and allows me to be productive and give back to the world in a creative and rewarding way. Healthy, strong people don't even realize how lucky they are to have all of their body parts in excellent working order. They have so many options! They may not be super exciting, but then, search hard for one that IS exciting! Even when you have a disadvantage or are more limited in what you can do physically, you have a lot of options. It just takes a bit of creativity and soul searching to find your way and how you can move forward. Be passionate, give back, make the world a better place in any way you can.

What an amazing parent you are!!! I say it often enough and yet I feel no one listens to me. From the time a child is born, your only job is to prepare that child to be a good member of society. Evidently you were able to communicate well enough with your child to let him or her know they are AWESOME and worthwhile. You didn't say "oh, my child is disabled and will never amount to anything" Gawd I hate that. I have 2 somewhat disabled grandsons and we are working to enhance their abilities and encourage them to do every single thing they are able.
