Life beyond deportation

What are the chances of deported Kiwis - all of them offenders - building successful lives in New Zealand? 12 arrived en-masse this week. Many of them with few connections to a place many of them don't want to be. Few of us will find out their crimes. But that's not the case for Rebecca Papali'i. She was expelled from Australia after serving 15 years for an almost unimaginable crime. How's she doing? Yvonne Tahana went to find out.

On my 16th birthday, my father gave me the best advice i could have been given , he said, "Son, "The choices you make today, will dictate & determine who you will be & where you will be tomorrow, for life will always present you with a choice , dont make it a challenge. I am now 63yrs old now & still live with & by that advice to this day

The comment about not enough resources. How do you think your victim feels about not having the basic resources of oxygen and being able to still be alive. You took those resources from your victim yet you chose to complian about resources for yourself.

Well, don't blame his addiction on his deportation or the fact that he's Hispanic. He was clearly already addicted to alcohol while he was here endangering people all over the highways and roads. He brought this on himself. Plenty of Hispanic people live quite happily and peacefully in the US. Criminals who are foreign nationals should be deported.
