Sir i can't thank you enough for making this series and aware us. Regret are always there and one thing which is constant is " kaash koi yeh pehele bata deta toh aaj acha hota". I can feel this because everyone did the mistakes. Same is going with me now. I always think if someone guide me for this i could have done better. I could have started competetivee programing during 2nd year and should have learn good technologies. Btw i have job for that i am grateful. Now i am preparing for my gate and always think about this i don't have to do any mistakes which i did in my engineering. I should also prepare with all things which will make my mtech and placement easy for me after cracking gate. Your this series is helping a lot. Really thanks from bottom of my 💓

I had a question regarding MTech vs Data Science jobs I have seen folks from Tier 3 college who get into a good product based companies for data science roles with good kaggle profiles. Kaggle Rank becomes a metric right? And also 30-40 LPA CTC the base in most of the companies in-hand is around 70-100k right?

Yes, obviously, having a good Kaggle profile helps. In hand can be 100k - 200k depending upon the company. Sometime > 200k too.

I have 59% in 12th. I have done MCA and i have 2 years of experience as a software developer. Will my 12th marks have any impact on my placements if i get a good college for M.Tech? Will it make me ineligible for companies?

Hi Vivek, Don't worry about this. Get into a good college and you will realise these things don't matter much. Your knowledge of the required subjects is the most important thing.

if a student does msc in physics(my case) then joins mtech via GATE. Then. bcoz he /she has not better knowledge about coding other operations. bta sakte ho? Bdw new subscriber!!❤️

Or Average package bocz website toh kch bhi post karte hai.. Jo actually waha hai weoh zayada ache se bata skta hai na ki kya stats hai ... Question 4: ke Sabka ko M.tech karne aata hai... Bombay mai uska ek baar toh sapna hota hi hai.. ke Google ke interview mai bethe... or Google oncampus aate bhi hai... But kya woh M.tech ko bethne dete hai... bcoz maine jitne dekha ke Mtech ka kch pata ni hai.. or Google main jaana hai toh KICK-START ya CODE-GAM do toh phir M.tech Bombay se karne ka matlb hi kya bana... Jab jaana hi offcamcpus pade....
Sir main abhi ek low level ki college main BTech kar raha hoon.agar main mtech iit see karu to mujhe achha placement milega kya????

Ache placement k liye IIT ki zaroorat nhi. IIT mein aane k baad opportunities zyada milega, kafi students apni mehnat se achi placement lete hain. Overall answer is yes.

Anything above 8-8.5 is decent.
can less then 60% in 12th affect the M.Tech placement in IIT
