Also if I should tell the psu about already getting selected in HAL ? 3. What about getting the NOC for the psu interview whose exam was already been conducted before joining HAL ? 4. What will the psu think about me when I already have a job in HAL and want to leave it ? 5. And how to manage giving interview and exams after selection in HAL as leaves are only 6 during training ? 6. Also did you give AAI interview after joining HAL ? If YES, then how did you get the permission ? and how did you managed the time ? And Did you inform AAI about HAL selection ?

Yes. You'll have to obtain a specialisation certificate from your university, mentioning your specializations. Since most college won't mention our specialisations in Degree / Provisional certificate

Only when you leave the organisation after paying bond amount, you can apply anywhere

You have to show relieving letter from your previous employer in that case, otherwise they will not let you give interview

If you want to apply any PSU/Central government job(Except UPSC) you need NOC & HAL will not give NOC till 5 years.

Sir i have a doubt that why you left infosys & decided to go for M tech as i am currently a 4th year student in Mechanical engineering & placed in TCS with 3.36 LPA & i am also confused that whether i should do the IT job or proceed one year drop for M tech ?? Or is there any risk in preparing for M tech. If i prepare along with the job ,will i i be able to crack a good college. I dont want to do the IT job & want to build my career in mechanical only. IT job - pros - lots of jobs with decent salary packages , cons - lot of competetion as new coming engineering students are selecting CS only. Mechanical job -pros -less competetion as few students only are choosing mechanical nowadays ,cons - very less job opportunities & risk in going for M tech. Confused bw above two situations so please answer the above asked questions 🙏

If your family can support you financially means you can proceed as your interest. If financially not well means you must go to IT job. Now a days IT companies are paying high salary packages or increment comparing to mechanical core companies. Iam working in mechanical core field, with my experience iam telling you that for salary means IT will be best

After graduation I worked for 1 year in aerospace industry and left job to prepare for GATE again. ( I have prepared during college in lockdown). Due to my job and travel I was completely out of touch with Gate prep. After leaving job my attempt didn't go well just qualified with that score I can get only new IITs that too not the branch of my interest. If u r in IT sector that's an advantage atleast you'll get WFH & Weekends off. Unlike ME industries where you get only off on Sundays. Prepare well along with job utilise max - 12-14 hrs on weekend and attempt all PSUs exams like HPCL, BHEL, along with GATE. You cannot grow in IT if your not interested and that too from Non IT background. But intial salary for a graduate will be more in IT compatitively to Core field. Financially you'll be more stable initially working in IT.

They will not give NOC, due to this you cannot apply anywhere. This is the worst thing about HAL.

Sir official notified in HAL service agreement bond, in case of breach of the service bond during the training period or after absorption as engineer, the candidate is liable to reimburse the actual training expenses paid 5,00,000. Can it explain it sir

For ESE you do not need any NOC, you only have to intimate HAL, and after your selection they cannot ask you to pay bond. UPSC is above all

No you cannot hide the information of present employer, because if you join any organisation then you need to open PF account and once you join other company then they can easily track you past record. And in past record they can easily find that you were working. This may cause rejection from Job.

Working days In most of the offices from monday to friday but in some cases you need to come Saturday also depending upon workload. Worktiming Most 9 to 5 but in production division you need to come in shifts. Females are mostly work in 9 to 5 from Monday to Friday.

In Bangalore, the timings are 7am to 3pm, however on an average you get free after 5pm. This is to avoid the traffic jams of city for employees early in the morning. Hyderabad timings are 8 to 5, however I am not too much sure about that. So you can say it depends on city where the division is..

HAL has been back bone of Indian Air force for so many years. HAL has been source of income lakhs of families directly and indirectly for equal number of years HAL has been a highly technical public sector adapting cutting edge technology. Easy to comment, grow up buddy.

Pro: U will not remain unemployed For mechanical engg ok Cons: High bond amount - 5 lakhs Large duration of bond- 5 yrs Multi level of hierarchy- false sense of growth; while reaching to leadership roles is very difficult
