That's Bob. He ends up as a driver in the trenches because he wants to see how a war is fought, so badly.

Massive proper LARP. I already love it.

So the best thing was pretty match having a bunch of trained servants all around you .

Anyone else prefer RPing (not LARPing just roleplaying) as a servant? I hate having to be perfect when i'm a noble.

It actually looks quite fun. Was there any reason given to the players for their characters to be in the manor or were all of you just chilling? (Or whatever the proper period word was for "chilling")

Every character was given a reason and some motivations, but it's up to the participants how do they decide to use this guidelines.

The overall reason for the occasion was a wedding between two of the characters, for this particular game.

I was actually wondering: Can participants create their own characters or do they get pre-made ones that they can slightly tweak? I’m very curious about this LARP, most of them in my area are medival fighting style and battle royale type so this is very different and interesting!

Participants get a chance to tell writers about their preferences and the characters are created based on that information. Slight tweaks are also possible.

Live Action Role Play. People wear visual symbols to let other players know what their character represents. Women playing men wore moustaches, young people playing old put white powder in their hair and leant on canes, dark-skinned and brown-eyed people playing against physical type wore blue contact lenses etc.

Ah ok well fair enough. I'm not particularly knowledgeable on role play so I assumed it would all be very strict and as realistic as possible. Cool video anyway as always Lloyd.

She was playing my personal servant cause there was a lack of males taking the roles. She would come and wake me and the guy who played my brother, while i was wearing nothing but a shirt and underwear. (S)he would then help me get dressed, which only the first morning was weird, cause after that, i only saw her role. Its strange at times, but thats roleplay, and its magic.
