Our little dog Rider has been traveling with us since he was 2mos. old. Now he is 14. He used to be the fearless hiker; now he’ll walk for 1/4mi. and we transfer him to his “buggy”. We are in love with Rider and have not traveled anywhere w/o him for 14 years. We want him to have the best life possible until his last day with us. I love your devotion to Pistol🥰

Thanks for the update. Seems almost every longtime nomad KZreadr is/are experiencing life blips. Glad to hear you are OK and good-on-ya for taking care of family. We're in the same boat with a family member needing support so we're off the road for the foreseeable future. But one good thing, it provided the perfect opportunity to have my knee replaced. Thank you! We’ve been visiting family and friends on the Oregon coast where it’s been about 60-65. We spent a few days in that national forest about a month ago. What a great place that deserves more exploring. Stay cool!

I call it a "buggy," too! My sweeties and I are also on the cool coast, thank goodness. Fortunate for all of us. Happy hiking!

Gosh I get what you are saying. I am currently loving being here in Morro Bay, CA in mid 60’s to 70’s. I am waiting to hear some news about a dear friend in North Carolina. I may have to drop everything and go there. Life happens. Helping friends and family when they need us is more important.

Glad your lifestyle allows you freedom to help family or friends when needed. Time well spent, and no doubt, much appreciated. Take care and take your time.

Sending good healing mojo to your family member. I am glad you two are well! Life brings changes, whether we want them or not. My big change is, next Friday, I get rotator cuff surgery. Tore it back in summer of 1982. I’m amazed my shoulder lasted this long. This was to be my big comeback season of outdoor rock climbing after my knee injury in June and subsequent surgery in December. Adjust and adapt. There are far worse places to be than the PNW coastal area. I HAD planned to jump in a class B RV and head west in August. But PT will now be my priority. Next summer will be my big breakout climbing season! Be well my friends and Carey On!

Hello and good to see you again. I thought you took a well-deserved vacation, but good on you for taking care of your family. Here there is training, short walks and fishing. Feeling a bit like Nebraska, I'm not going anywhere.

We respect your privacy and family comes first in your life when needed and that is respected by us all.

Greetings kids. Thanks for the update. With a similar rationale but with contrasting style, I just pounded out 6,000 miles in my Promaster over the last 10 days to Seattle and back for family. One highlight was watching the Blue Jays win the final game in the Mariners series with a thrilling extra inning. And what a surprise it was to see the big sea of blue attired fans that come down the the Great White North to see this rivalry. The lowlight however was how dam rough the I80 and I90 have become; very brutal ride for some major stretches causing some van guts to salute entropy! Come on people, please happily desire to pay more taxes. 😜

We also got a buggy for my travel companion, Fergie was 14 years old when I lost her too soon. Enjoy every minute with Pistol, pets are the greatest gift

Thanks for the update been wondering now we know. The rail trail hike sounds fun can't wait for you to show us the trail and buggy Hoping for the best for your family I do remember nephew from older videos smart kid!!! The coast has been so nice walk my dog on the beach everyday usually wearing a jacket lol
