I hate this boss, but I love the reference to Pinocchio. In the original story by Collodi, the Fairy tries to have him take a medicine, but he says something like "I'd rather die than drink that!". The second he says that, four black rabbits enter the house carrying a coffin and Pinocchio is so scared he immediately drinks the medicine.

Gotta love these guys and the amount of fucking confidence it must take to bring a coffin for your enemy into battle with you.

It kicked my ass at first but its a perfect gank fight. all of the attacks are well telegraphed and can all be parried and rolled. even when multiple enemies are on the screen, one of them is always very passive. I dont see anything wrong with the fight at all. Its really hard but thats not a flaw.

Same. I fought the boss countless times and i was convinced i could break his weapon after like 20~30 perfect counters, so i summoned the spector. And even during the fight i won, i still wasnt able to break his weapon

@@ImmortuiRex74 Ive managed to succesfully fully perfect parry his spin attack on several occasions (which is incredibly difficult and i still cant do it reliably) but i could never get it to break. I did later learn that some weapons, like the dagger i was using, arent great for breaking enemy weapons. Heavier weapons seem to deal more damage to the enemies weapon then light weapons. But i havent confirmed this yet.

This was the last boss I encounter at the game (by the time i make this comment) and its my favorite fight so far. The drip, the dialogue, the scenario, all of that is wonderful!

This fight truly put me through the ringer, but then i remembered it was a skill issue and it was smooth sailings after that

If you focus the fire on the big guy the fight ends immediatly, you don't have to beat the other 3

Although I managed to also perfect this encounter I have to say, his overhead slash needs tweaking, his tracking is insane if you choose to parry instead of dodging.

yo if anyones still stuck at this one circle around the little brothers so you can backstab them. you can do that with all of them no problem. then you can focus on the eldest very easily thats how i beat it otherwise id still be raging at the game

When I first saw this I was scared this was gonna be like Four Kings where if you didnt kill them fast enough eventually you'd be fighting all of them. Thankfully that wasn't the case....

If anyone's stuck on this boss: you want to perfect block boss combos and do 1-3 hits during the window, then repeat until boss hp bar goes white, then perform charged heavy attack and riposte. When one of lackeys appears you want to focus them instead and kill ASAP. Main boss (almost) won't bother you until you beat lackeys

⁠@@06kikas3 when struggling with perfect block then just use Aegis arm. Hold L2 and spam L1. All blocks are now perfect blocks. I don‘t understand why they do not fix that cheese 😂

i'D say kinda avoir damaging the elder brother and keep practicing perfect block until you get his patterns down. eventually his weapon will break and his damage will be reduced significantly

I love this fight. It reminds me a lot of Ornstein & Smough in the sense that the trick is making sure you keep your eyes on both enemies at the same time. Never let one get out of your sight. Once you figure that out it's pretty straightforward.

One of the coolest boss intro I have ever seen

Well done excellent 👏 ... very interesting to see how long it takes doing it this way (none spectre) however by using the Aegis instead from the start and getting his health bar really low , and then concentrating just on the main guy ,a couple of heavy charges to stagger him and its over in half the time it took here 😉 (taking damage of course!)

what i did in this boss fight is spam parry and heavy attacks and tried to tank the boss hits, surprisingly worked pretty well, didnt kill any of the other bandits

I had the satisfaction of defeating him on my second try with breaking his weapon by perfect blocking. Was so much fun!

You can parry his 4 overhead attacks pretty easily once you get the timing down. Then it’s only matter of time before his weapon breaks and he barely does any damage

Biggest trick to winning boss fights in this game. Besides the obvious of having the distraction spectre active, use throwables and blitz powerups, doing that made bosses like Simon and easy 1st try.

The main guy is satisfying and nice to fight, but the other ones holy fucking shit I keep losing my mind. They’re combos are so quick and diverse which gets really annoying because you have to pay attention to them AND keep an eyes on the oldest brother

I guess this is why you don't summon a specter for every boss, I've been having so much trouble just bum rushing it

I don't know ...for me it was easier without the spectre. Since for me .he was mostly doing sweeping attacks which I get caught in even if I am not his target of agro (when i try to attack from behind) It was much easier for me to face him directly and perfect parry

This was so hellish hard for me for some reason, I gave up and used ghost after 3 hours of loosing. I tried to kill the boss without fighting other guys from the band. I almost did... Then I tried to fight like it should but the boss still got too much health after defeated other guys. I was still loosing...His attacks are too random and fast and hard to parry...

how come that first boss ally just turns her back to you twice lol? must be buggy animation of her move, probably will be fixed. as I don't see you intentionally going behind her back too much lol. otherwise insane technical fight

That move is designed to sweep right through you and end up behind you, so she flips around so that she is facing you. Here he keeps running backwards while she does it so he ends up behind her instead.

Booster handle with a big ass blade and the flame grindstone. I got lucky but made the fight manageable without a specter

I hated this boss at first, even considering using summons Then some random guy said that you could destroy his weapon even if he's a boss, and I practiced parrying him perfectly So much fun ! Sekiro vibes when you learn to parry each of his attack. Didn't use the mechanic much in Dark Souls but here it's more like Bloodborne or Sekiro so parrying is easier even if the window is short Thank you random guy

This game is harder then sekiro and souls series imo

I agree , smaller parry windows with more aggressive enemies and no extra lives definitely makes it harder , but things like throwables , overleveling , attribute advantage , and how easy it is to cheese through some fights could make some people think that it’s easy , but if you play both normally lies of P definitely takes more skill

The sound is just the boss making sounds, and I dodged the attack there (as you can see from the side-step into roll)

This one wasn't as hard as i originally thought and only took me 10 tries compared to Fuoco which broke me mentally. Still, i can't do it without my ghostly pal, it's too overwhelming.

I love the eldest brothers move set and weapon. I wish i could have fought him 1 on 1 to really enjoy the fight. Hus back up ruins the fight

For me the last 2 fking bosses give me so much pain I almost rage quit since I beat all souls games without any summon I also beat this game only to know that I miss nameless puppet boss cause I chose wrong answer now I am in new game plus and man these fking bosses kill me in just 2 or max 3 fking hit I have 45 hp point still it’s nothing 😢

Ez boss fight, just throw throwables at the siblings, then break the main one’s weapon lol (took me a few hours to beat this)

​@@oxsilausing throwables is a legit tactic, especially in a gank fight. Only fight I absolutely needed throwables and cheese for was nameless puppet phase 2. Phase 1 was fine but he was consistently outdamaging me with his combos and running away so I barely got any chance to punish attacks.

I love this fight I suck at it but loved it Stamina free enemy with that great sword 😂

Im in ng++ and this fight is one of my favorites , the second fight with them is harder and cooler , people that say the fight is hard is because they just want to do the old trick of "big weapon and big poise go boom" , u just have to git gud

@@oxsila you can no hit it just the same without running. Just perfect guard the attacks and get in your fatal attacks during stagger. This fight is hard as fuck but what you do about it is entirely up to the player. Some people use throwable items and summons to cheese it, some players brut force their way and try to out-damage and the boss and hope to have enough heals, some players get really good. It all depends on what level of reward feeling/satisfaction you prefer. The fight is very well designed tho.

How it took me 4 hours to defeat this boss (with no power ups nor summon) and there's people out here doing the whole thing with no damage taken at all? 😭 Feels surreal

This is one of the best boss fights I’ve ever played

It's definitely the great sword of fate blade and it looks like the acidic speer handle

this boss isn't exactly hard but it's tedious as fuck. kinda wish the eldest had less health but the others were more dangerous so the fight could be harder and resolve faster

Man this looks so much easier if you aren't a full str build. Being str and my main weapons being slow I had to P Guard everything.

if it makes you feel any better, if you dont perfect parry with a technique weapon the health chip dmg is like 80%+ more(i made that up but its SIGNIFICANTLY noticeable). guarding with a str wep is a ton more safe

Actually you need to make 2 weapons for Strenght Builds: - one big bonk for large enemies - and a big blade/hammer combined with some regular sword grip or that officer lil bonk grip to faster enemies without losing dmg

He's only aggressive if there's no other enemies up. If there's other enemies up, as long as you keep some distance, he won't attack you other than his charge attack every so often

just made to this boss and it was a 2 minute fight, use the specter and wait for boss to chase him, just backstab the boss while hes walking towards the specter, after his hp is something around 60% throw some fire grenades, 5 was enough for me to kill it this way.
