Loved the interview with Melissa. Love that she's old-school because my outlook is: funny is just damn funny & if we can't laugh at ourselves then the world's gotten to damn narcissistic and I don't care to help the world become more narcissistic, so I'm going to laugh my ass off on what I find funny! And referring to Melissa's analogy--we need more square pegs in this depressing round world we're in or we need to start re-shaping this world back to a more square-ish shape! I'm going to get her book and I don't buy 'celebrity books' but I'm curious to explore this 'new genre' of Melissa's, it sounds right up my alley. Hopefully as Heather says, we're re-correcting since the Oscars. Keep up the good work! And laugh away, Annie!🤣

I don't think people realize that Melissa WAS Fashion Police. She WAS the reality show on WE. During that Joan tried so hard to make sure we knew it was mostly Melissa. I payed attention and I hope most people did too.

Shein is not a great company. They have had many controversies in the past. They typically steal designer's designs and sell them for super cheap.

Melissa was so spot on about the comment from Will Smith about King Richard being crazy to deflect from his own behavior. That had to hurt.

I miss your Mom Melissa, for all of her contributions to this world.

I am favorable to JD because when you hear the way amber is speaking to him (knowing that she is recording it) it makes me wonder how she spoke to him when she DIDN'T record. And there was one recording played where she literally says "I hit you. I didn't punch you. You're not hurt! You're a baby! Oh what are you going to do? Tell the world- as a man - that you are abused??" And he says " yes". Again she's the one doing these recordings. Not him. She clearly pokes him and tries to get a reaction every time she records.

Joan was my hero!! Melissa, I enjoyed both of you, and always thought naming your son after your father (I’m getting choked up, it makes me feel of the love and respect you have for your father; you were raised right! There is not enough time to name her witty comments! Two I think of often; on Trump’s show, the one “poker player”, had been really vicious to you both. Your mum looked at her and basically said; “All of you Vegas players are a dime a dozen and they all have one name”!😂 The second, I realize I was, ahem, becoming a woman of age; it was something about the designer of Middleton’s wedding dress, saying he didn’t want Pippa associated with him. Of course he said it with much more venom. I believe Andy Cohen asked your mum about the comment. I don’t remember her quote, but after noting the comment was pretty cruel, Joan said;”but I get it”! I literally peed!!!

"Scamberturd" and "#mepoo" are the funniest things I've seen come from the trial. I'm over it tho, she's the worst. Johnny is not perfect but he didn't deserve that. I belive he would've signed a prenuptial agreement if he was abusive.

My favorite piece of advice I received from Joan and it made me change my life…. She said along the lines that why wait to use that fine China? Why wait to wear that beautiful dress? Do it now and enjoy every moment of it! Don’t wait for later bc you never know if later will come…. For years now I will wear that dress! I will use my fine china whenever I want to… anything in life! Don’t wait for that special day… EVERY DAY IS A SPECIAL DAY! This was a great interview, I always loved Joan Rivers jokes. And she dressed beautifully, she had great style..I do miss her, how I wish she was still here today. I'm sure she would have a field day at what's been going on in this country, and for the whole world for that matter. I also like Melissa Rivers, she seems like a great person. Her son Copper, is a nice young man, he truly loved his grandma Joan. But I couldn't help wanting to move Melissa's bangs away from her eyes in this interview. It was making me feel the need to move those bangs, they kept getting stuck in her eyelashes and her eyes. 🤷‍♀
