BS. I'm old enough to have followed her since the 70's, and once social media arrived, I quickly noticed that she loved to dish out the insults but was terrible at taking them. Lost a lot of respect for her with that hypocrisy.

That was my sister’s favourite show. She mentioned it last night and said how much she misses Joan and her quick wit.

We never thought we'd see the day when Joan Rivers wasn't here. When she died at 81 years old, we were all stunned and we're still stunned. She opened doors for so many and took a lot of punches but always stood up, punched back and kept going. She got the last laugh.

That Bette Davis impersonation was spot-on.

Everyone is trying make fun of her but still she is the funniest 🤣

The mudslide line was one of the funniest comebacks of all time.

Nobody will ever do it like Joan.

I greatly admire comedians for their nerves of steel and the heart to laugh at themselves, even when the insults strike close to their very bone. And Joan is a class act. Miss her.

I don’t remember the last time I laughed so much. Gottfried’s set with the winking unicorn killed me.

I miss Joan. And it's always nice seeing Robin Quivers.

Joan was the only one on her level. She was a one of a kind.

Joan was a celebrity guest in a major New Orleans Mardi Gras parade one year. We attended the ball where the parade route went inside the convention center. As Joan’s float passed for some reason our eyes met and she blew me the biggest kiss and smile ever!!! ❤❤ it made my night 🎉

She is sorely missed. RIP Joan ❤

I never knew about The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers until finding KZread clips of it. What a shame they cancelled it. Her interviews were great and her musical guest selections were very hip. She had a knack for interviewing people quite different from herself. It's great that Joan was the first woman talk show host, but totally ridiculous they didn't keep running her show, or that no other woman had a show since then.

No person full stop has made me laugh as much as Joan! Never a dull moment in any of her shows. Even the best of the best usually have the odd lull in their sets but she was on fire from curtain up to curtain down.
