These tools are rebranded and most low cost air tools are all exactly the same with different brand names etc. I have loads of budget air tools and they’re all exceptional, it really depends on the compressor and not so much the tool! Really good for the money

The video would be so much better without that noise called "music" . Had to watch the whole thing on mute

good to see you back, a few people have mentioned that your compressor might be a tad on the small side however you can link multiple small cheap compressors together as and when funds allow to enable the running of greedier air tools. kindest regards Martin ps the music is a tiny bit annoying.

Yeah, some of Lidls tools have lasted longer than similar tools that are more than 20x the price. I have that air drill and its great, feels like it will handle daily abuse for years to come. And even have 3 years guarantee.

Another wicked video, good to see what you can get for your money

The most of the tools are quite good for this price (I have almost everything from the video), but 102 l/min. from this small compressor isn't enough for them. The bigger tools (+ the sandblaster) need 180 + l/min (sandblaster - 310 l/min). Good video!

You need to turn the pressure up on the air compressor for things like the wrench it was probably only set to like 50psi and It needs to be 90+. mine works fine

Yeah i was thinking they wouldn’t sell the air tools on the same day as the compressor if it wouldn’t be fit to run it. I know it wont run for long periods of time but it should definitely run any of them tools on show here

Some of those tools had quite a lot of power. Was their some kind of regulator on the compressor, if so did you adjust it.

Great video, the ones id get are the drill, impact and the angle grinder, the rolok attachment for them are amazing

I've brought a few of the parkside tools from Lidl and ive found them to be great bits of kit. I haven't used them out on the job yet but for around the house jobs and hobby usage, I would recommend them to someone who is looking for a casual and reliable tool within a good price range any day.

I bought my compressor from Aldi a couple of years back and it is on a par with this one. It isn't exactly the best but they're great value and are of a decent quality.

glad you mentioned that it was the compressors fault with the impact wrench my dad has a 50l compressor and thats not enough for his MAC impact wrench can do about 2 bolts then have to wait for a full tank again :/

I have the compressor is awesome, a finishing nailer also very good i also have the sprayer but i didn't use it yet. I am looking now to buy the metal sheet cutter but i don't know how strong is it.

I bought a lot of tools from Lidl but sadly I returned most of them due to them being flimsy or faulty. The only stuff I kept were the normal hand tools. You do get what you pay for.

I bought the larger (3hp 50 litre) compressor from Lidl a few years ago, they had 2 marked down to £30 each! A friend of mine said "I bet it's rubbish" but mine is still going strong and has come in very handy. (Mine also failed to remove wheel though). You can buy better, you can buy worse, but in terms of value for money, this stuff is great.

Looks exactly like my Omega Wolf compressor, which is the same brand as Aldi use to manufacture (or at least at one time they did) as well, just my tank looks a touch longer. I was going to get a new spray gun when I saw these in but didn't in the end. I got the saw from Aldi Workzone the week after, it's exactly the same. I figured I would get an all metal spray gun, the white plastic tub broke when over tightened before. Omega Wolf might be a new company name for the same previous company or the old one & it has a new one now. I remember warranty / guarantee chasing a new air filter was a pain in the arse.

All the tools are good value but the compressor isn't large enough capacity for the impact wrench.

hi, when i brought a compressor years ago i was told its the cfm number you should look at as to the power of a compressor. the tank only stores x amount of air and also takes the pulse wave of air and calms it. eg your air tool uses 4 cfm (details on instruction leaflet) and compressor puts out 8cfm all ok with some to spare

True. Is Capacity really everything? Capacity for me is just how long the tool can run before the tank becomes empty and the compressor has to kick in and to add in that Air compressor is only delivering 103l/m or 3.6CFM which for an 1/2" impact wrench at 6 bar needs 4-5 CFM but they say you should double it for optimal use and we own a 50l 206l/m 7.3CFM and it can run fully undo 2 lug nuts and loosen the other 2 in 1-3 mins before it becomes underpowered. That being said is it better so have more air Capacity or a higher bar with both compressors having the same CFM considering they say most tools are optimal for 6bar

Did you actual buy them in your local lidl or did you buy them online?

These are ok for a hobbyist who uses them occasionally. Will not put up with daily commercial use. The major problem is that one has to wait until they bring them in for 'tool week' and then its a crap shoot if they will bring in the tool you need. The air tools are ok but most of my tools and compressor I brought with me from the states when I moved to Europe. Bought the high end Craftsman tools from Sears before their quality went to the dogs. The compressor that Lidl sells lacks the kojones to provide the proper volume and pressure of air needed for decent tools. The Harbor Freight tools sold in the States are far better than Lidl's products and they are both Chinesium made even though Lidl's products are not properly marked. Many times the package is marked Made in EU but on the actual product it is marked "PRC".

I'd definitely invest in a better impact wrench, a well made one will use less air and give you a lot more torque, I'm looking at buying the 50L compressor from aldi but i think I'll buy the tools elsewhere as the impact from there is pretty pants as well.

I purchased a Parkside cordless drill about 20 years ago, for a few years it got used 5 days a week and has been used infrequently since, its still In working order though one of the batteries no longer holds a charge. I would recommend parkside tools they are great value.

Wish they had that on sale in my country too. Especially the air-sander would be nice to have

I have the 50ltr compresser if you use the smaller red hose that comes with it it powers all the tools just fine but remember 50ltr is not much so it recharges quite quick,the long white hose great for spray painting but won't run the air tools power full enough if an when parkside do a 100ltr tank that would be the one to get but I doubt that would be portable with wheels on it

I've got a gun that can undo bolts/nuts torqued up to 120+ but I still use the breaker bar to lose the bolts before I use the gun

I got there paint compressor it works great 20 min before it overheats and works fantastic on model kits

Nice to see another upload James. I'm sure those tools would work better with a much larger compressor, most of them use large amounts of air volume and that small tank just doesn't have the capacity to run them very well. I like your dads little Yamaha too!

Those air saws are good actually, you were trying to saw something that was flapping around, do the same with a hand saw and you won't have much luck either, it's for metal really, cutting body panels on cars etc, use it on something fixed solid and it'll work well, maybe consider buying a cheap keyless chuck for the drill too, or take one off an old or broken cordless drill if you have one, also in my opinion, a 90 degree die grinder is one of the most useful air tools you will ever own. oil your tools now and then and even cheap air tools will last a long time.

I have the same air compressor. I guess I bought it in 2015... It doesn't work much because I don't have too many air tools. but it works every time I need it. It is spot on.

Have the compressor and it Carrys out all the tasks I need too use it for good bit of kit and reasonable on the pricing

What paint do you use for air compress what called

i have some "Parkside" tools in my toolbox , good quality for the price , not the best obviously , but very good for the beginners

no, minimal 150 ltr

I have the air compressor. Its preety nice but I had to regulate my self the air pressure automatic stop because it didnt stop working and the emergency valve was opening all the time

25ltr mate personal experience there not upto much as always needing to refill with air every 30 seconds personally recommend 50ltr onwards get decent ones cheap enough make sure its decent bar to power the tools like he said compressor didn't have enough bar to make the impact gun effective and have decent torque to Remove the wheel nuts

This year 2018.02 Lidl start selling 50L compresor. Much better because of the size, more air. Just get one this month. Really good tool. Happy to have it :-)

the range of tools from there and aldi are awesome. impact gun has yet to fail me. turn the torque dial to 4 and use the unregulated outlet on the compressor and power lol. is there a way I can email you or something?

I have bought lidl spray paint gun I use it once and didint finish the job the seals inside just melt ....

Dont worry too much about the compressor or gun being 'man' enough for wheel lugs, if something is that tight that shocking it wont do anything its always best to use a bar and apply constant pressure, I work fulltime on cars and I got a 1997 Snapon gun with no balls but when im doing wheel nuts up I know that i'm not over tightening them so when I torque them they're all good

why didnt you use the paint sprayer?

Looks like a bargain, but. 24l compressor probably isn't man enough for an impact wrench. The other tools seem to be good value though.

You're right, the manual does say 50+ Liters but I mainly use it to tighten nuts on things like motorcycle clutches and for that it's a great tool on a 24L compressor. Just don't expect to do a full pit stop with it in a few seconds because a 24L compressor can't handle the required air volume. For single nuts though it's amazing.

I have the same compressor and impact. I found if I use an extn cable and a short 4ft of hose the impact works much better. Way too much oomph is lost in that long, small bore hose I guess.

The size doesn't really matter so long as the pressure is there, you'd just be waiting a lot

impact wrench is ok, will do wheel bolts, but you have to get a wider hose, and set your compressor to 8 bar.

i had the same impact wrench.. really gutless, hardly opened any lug nuts i tried it on.. even with a decent air compressor

You'll need to be careful now with that impact socket gun that you don't round the nuts and bolts. Nice video, keep up the good work mate ✌️️

I bought the £99 Erbauer set of air tools from Screwfix. They've been brilliant, and come in a really tough box, and are guaranteed for two years. Air hammer, 1/2" ratchet wrench, 1/2" impact wrench and blow gun, plus chisels ,extenders and lots of fittings, grinding wheels etc. I've bought different Erbauer stuff from SF, and it has all stood the test of time. A box of impact screw and nut bits for my cordless impact wrench has not suffered a single failure, and I reckon the Pozi 2 bit in the holder has driven 2000 + screws without failing- better than the kraut bits I used to use. My compressor is only a hobby 100L 2.5hp 10cfm machine, and with the (Erbauer) 20m 9mm hose I have to turn the pressure up to 105psi to give enough grunt at the other end to operate the ratchet and wrench at full power. Don't be put off by buying a cheap compressor, they're very useful tools, even if, like me, you're only removing a few stubborn nuts, and inflating tyres. Blow guns are invaluable too!

You tend to find that with air ratchets they spin quite slowly I have a snap on super duty one and it's about the same speed, as far as impact guns go I'm incredibly surprised it didn't undo those wheel bolts my advice if you going to buy another impact get a good quality 3/8 and just use adaptors the 1/2 are normally too big for most spaces, I have a blue point one in my travel box and that undoes wheel bolts no problem

Just a tip when taking of wheels first loosen the bolts when the car is sitting on the ground then raise it an completely unscrew thep

I bought all that last year and its all good stuff but the compressor is way underpowered for the impact tools :-(

nw8000 the ratchet is utter trash, same goes for the paint gun only good for tractor and fence rust protection paint..

Buy a broken second hand air compressor with a large capacity and connect the 24 litre one to it. That's will give you a cheap massive air receiver, I'm currently using a 6 litre air compressor to fill a 150 litre tank and it works perfect once it's charged up.

Just bought this air compressor from Lidl pretty sure it said on the box or in the instructions that this compressor is not big enough to really run most Air tools other than the airjet the paint gun and the sander but that's all I want it for so it's an excellent purchase for me cheap to

Just try fitting a 3/8 hose to the compressor. Ok it will charge a lot more but it will have to extra power to use the wrench n stuff.

Guess the impact wont have any effect since the tank is so small. The rest of the tools seem fairly okay.

You have to set the air pressure of the compressor to 6.8 bar if you use the Lidl impact screwdriver with a 10 meter long tube. a 50L tank is also recommended but the air pressure doesn't has to be too high because the tool will waste the extra air. When you have an 8 bar compressor and set it to the max your tool has to spill 1.2 bar but can't control it precisely what is a loss of pressure.

Some one did a review but once the tank was full they turned it off. so the pressure went they said the tools were useless, but if the compressor was on whe they were working would show how good they were.

Lol the parkside electrical impact wrench can actually handle the tyre's bolts fine

New air tools have storage grease in it. degrease them and lubricate with oil for airtool.

They have sold tools for the last 10 years, it may not be the best stuff but you can work it just as hard as a the best than in 5 years time take it back and get another, they order one in even if they dont stock it anymore, seriously the best quality-service-price ratio

with parkside it's very hit and miss, the grinders are great the plug in ones are I mean

how good will these cheap tools work after one year ???

I got there petrol jet wash it's pretty good only used it once, alot of it is built in China then kompernass and lidl put there name on it, good value and some of the stuff is very good

I am buying tools in lidl for years, I think they have the best price and quality ratio! And everything has a a 3 year guarantee, I have only braked the tip of the soldering iron and f*ckd it up (felt on the floor). Everything else works really fine especially electric and air tools!

congratulations for your new purchase! an air compressor and a set of air tools are usefull in DIY mechanics shop. but for running this tools you need a bigger air compressor, maybe a 50 liters or more. this is why they are running slow. also you need a constant air pressure of 6/6.5 bar.

Difficult to say with that stupid noise going on.

Just wanted to see how they’re as a brand I bought a cordless drill for my apprentice because he had no tools lol so I bought a few cheap tools and the drill to stop him using mine but my Bosch knocked the socks of it but my battery went flat so I had to use his I remember the guys on site taking the piss out of him every time he got it out although he was proud of it! Personally I wouldn’t buy them maybe if I had a office job and was a DIY’er. But I will say isn’t air tools somewhat a thing of the past? I mean I find most cordless tools far superior even to the point they’re becoming more adopted in workshops.

Had spray gun (for primer) and the lid leaked all the time painting a fender. Could not seal it so return. Compressor good only for tire pressure :-) Other tools need pro air supply.

You need a bigger compressor to use the blaster and especially the paint sprayer

Park side is not too bad quality iv bought some tools from lidls as spairs /2nd lot of tools for boat or work so its not the end of the world if they get nicked or lost . As i say qualoty is lacking but ok for back up .the days for aircomppresors i think are numbered now as there are soo many affordable battery devices are available which are quiet lighter "instant" and consume much less electricity
