Lidl Parkside Air Compressor Review
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Review of the Lidl Parkside air compressor. Bought over a month ago and used on car, van, pressure testing aircon, bike, paddling pool, footballs and bed. I have even seen this compressor used with air tools such as impact gun for taking wheel nuts off! In the video I give a demo as well as show you what comes with it. My main reason for buying was to replace a 12v compressor that took ages to inflate car tyres.

Max Rex thanks Rex
My compressor loses pressure as soon as I press the lever on the handle, it then needs to pump up air for a few seconds and then it happens again and again. What could the problem be?
I bought one myself and it's doing the same as yours, I'm sure it's broken said expect the compressor to fill itself when it's plugged in then turn itself off when it's charged. Not to empty itself when you unplug it, surely that defeats the word portable?

I think it's the design as the unit is too small to hold a big enough cylinder to hold the compressed air.
do you think you can connect a spray gun to it for a small paint job ?

Alex Attard I was in Lidl the other week and they were selling Parkside air tools and had a spray gun. Probably best to see if anyone else on YT has done it.

Yes, I have that spray gun in fact and have a larger compressor. Would like to get a smaller compressor such as this one you're showing for more portability but then I'm afraid it would compromise the spray quality. When you started blowing the football with no pressure inside did the gauge move above 3 bar? Thanks. Because if it is able provide a constant 3 bar, it might do the job.
It's the noise always on or it stops when it's charged?

Noise is on as soon as you switch the pump on. It would be great if the pump only ran when the trigger was pressured.

Thank you. I just bought one and the noise is always on so i thought it was broken :)

You need to buy a model with a pressure tank if you want to get rid of the noise. This was also the reason I got rid of this one. Bought a long hose so the unit could make noise in my shed

@@DutchBudfor occasional tyre pumping its fine. If it was used for longer periods a proper compressor would be needed. 😀

@@fiveminuteman true true. But I have 3 cars, 6 bikes and loads of tools that need cleaning by air because of excessive dust. So this one is not for me, for using it once a month, it does the job perfectly 😀
oh fuck, i thought that was not noisy XD glad i saw this video

It does not work with an impact gun. Tried it and it doesn't even turn in the hand ! Took it back to the store. Lost pressure in 7 minutes.

I bought one the other day, as you said it bleeds itself out soon as it's unplugged. Surely that means it's broke? Defeats the term portable, I'll have another look tomorrow to see if I can tighten it up or it's going back!
It is posible to pump car tyres ?

Matti Leinonen it's a great bit of kit, I'd be interested if anyone has connected up tools to the compressor.
