Liberating Nancy Then & Now

The French city of Nancy was liberated by the Americans in September 1944 and during the parade numerous photos were taken in the stunning Place Stanislas.
I was lucky enough to visit Nancy and find the Then and Now photos taken within the city during its liberation but there were also a few of the German troops from the Spring of 1940!
I hope you enjoy the episode.

Having found your channel, having a blast going over the various videos!! Tidbit - I think the photo at 6:43 has been printed in reverse - the jeep's wheel appears on its right side, versus left side, as well as the Major is to the driver's left. In addition the driver's blouse appears to be overlapping to his left, i.e., how women's clothing is normally designed. Again, just a simple observation.
