Liberace playing Aram Khachaturian's "Saber Dance", from the 50's Vladzyu Valentino Liberace (full name of the artist) is a famous American musician, performer and showman. In the 50-70s of the last century, Liberace was one of the highest-rated and highest-paid stars in America.
@Mrphilharmonic14 жыл бұрын
That looks like his brother George - the middle of the three violinists - playing with him. I'm sure Liberace would have been able to play the Cziffra arrangement. Look how 'easy' he makes this version look. He's just having fun with it. I doubt whether he really stretched himself over many of his pieces. He was a VERY capable pianist and much underrated by the musical snobs. I wish I had half his technique!
