Living Life In The Asmussen Family Bandwagon yes it’s called born with 1 working kidney which is stated in the original post the term for his situation is effectively dead his dead kidney was affecting his working kidney when he was born he what most would refer to as a miracle baby the term effectively dead is used for any major organ that isn’t functioning or functioning properly from birth that affects a functioning organ in liams case it was his kidney affecting his kidney ( you can live without 1 kidney only) Liam has both kidney one now functions on and off the other functions 24/7 but at birth that wasn’t the case
