4:20 The way Liam just stands there in the crescendo of the song is the epiphany of cool. And what made him the coolest front man ever.

This was an underrated song back in 1997 and was in a new Oasis era after Morning Glory and all the Euphoria of 1995 and 1996. Liam sang this brilliantly.

I think the problem with this whole album was that Noel said he hated it and then all the fanboys started saying they hated it too. I get why he doesnt particularlly like it from an artistic and PERSONAL point of view for what he was going through, but i think its a brilliant album even if it is overproduced by Noel. And this song is at least a top 10 Oasis' tune for me. Same chords progression as Wonderwall doesnt make it the same song and definitely not bad at all.

@@Lauchex The Masterplan I think Noel had realized after putting this together with the B' Sides was something special but at the point, Be Here Now was already in the mainstream, so he was trying to juggle the two in publicity but I think he had more incline towards his B Side Album which in my view should have been the 3rd Album.

The only thing that's a constant problem with his band are the backing vocals. Other than that, no idea what you're on about. AN oasis reunion tour, with Liam singing like this, would be a dream come true. Like a gift for music fans after almost two years in the pandemic.

A brilliant song from a much maligned album. I'm still disappointed Noel couldn't revise it for the deluxe anniversary, but it'd bring to mind press hassles, strict secrecy, having to leave Abbey Rd etc etc., so a tough ask ... but please do shorter versions someday, Noel, maybe in 2022, for the 25th anniversary

He already released a remix of Do You Know What I Mean a few years ago, removed a lot of the guitar noise and turned the bass up. Improved it hugely. Can't ever see him bothering to do it for the whole album though. He just doesn't care enough about the album to put the effort in.
