A family member of mine, who is a well known personality has met, drank and hung out with Liam has a story whereas they were both on a boat in Australia. Everything was calm and nice until it was time to get off the boat. Liam noticed the press waiting at the dock side and quickly said .... ''Sorry mate, it's time to be a twat''. He got off the boat and swaggered about, swearing and offering people out. An hour or so later my family member met him again in the hotel and he was calm and well mannered again. The man is a genius. He understands what he needs to do to maintain his media presence. It doesn't matter at all if he is like that in real life or not. Oasis as big as they were/are, owe as much to Liam's understanding of what people expect as they do the music.
