I loved the Windows Entertainment Pack. Someone at my votech school brought in a floppy with the games on it and we all passed it around and installed them on our PCs. After I had a laptop, I copied them onto it and spent hours playing Taipei, JezzBall, Cruel Solitaire, SkiFree. Great memories. I wish MS still made these.

You jogged my memory of Jezzball! I played a number of these games when I was a teenager alongside listening to whatever the 90s precursor to emo music was and alternated with Sim City 2000 and as soon as I saw the game the suppressed memories came flooding back. At some point then I discovered much better music than my dirges of doom and ditched the over-reliance on computer patience but it's nice to have a reminder about my emo phase every once in a while.

looking at this reminds me of the other pack we had on our old computer. aside from BOWEP, we got a Bicycle card game pack. initially, it has just poker, solitaire, cribbage, and i think blackjack. but when you open solitaire, it has a game mode menu where you can pick from around 40 different single player card games, ranging from standard klondike to 40 thieves, spider, and so forth. back when my mom was around, i remember searching all over the internet for a modern take on that concept for having a 40-in-1 solitaire program, but those were rare at the time

My old Gateway Windows 98 came with a set of game discs. Included were; The Neverhood, Close Combat: A Bridge Too Far, either Flight Simulator '95 or '98, and (I believe) Age of Empires along with others' I can't remember (this was almost 20 years ago for me). Those games that the Gateway Windows 98 came with at that time practically made up my PC Gaming childhood starting from when I was like 4-5 years old. All the titles I didn't forget were made by Microsoft Studio and came packed with the Gateway Windows 98. I don't know why, but I guess "Microsoft Entertainment Pack" reminded me of the set of games/discs that came with the first Windows PC I really got to use. Could you possibly do a video if you ever come across any of these OEM PC software/game disc sets, or just any of the games/series' I mentioned above?

Kudos on your work, about as far from lazy as your channel name might mislead! :) I happened to see a Klik & Play icon in this video. Is it by any chance Clickteam's game creation software? I've been a long fan of that as well, together with newer and better versions such as The Games Factory, Multimedia Fusion and so on. Would you consider reviewing those too? They're an interesting mix of popular'n'obscure software. Thanks and keep the good stuff rollin'! :)

Rodent's revenge! I had completely forgotten about that game! I used to play that all the time when I was a kid! I also remember my mom being obsessed with Chips Challenge, she even had a notebook with guides on how to beat every puzzle.

SkiFree was one of my all time favorite childhood games. That abominable snow yeti, I was hoping you said something about him. ^-^

2002 baby. But I have older siblings and cousins who would always be playing this on my grandmother's Windows 95 during our annual family reunions.

4:06 I got it in the win32s add-on for 3.1 I couldn't play it cause I installed it wrong. Maybe it doesn't work with dosbox?
