LGF 158: Kaua'i Moi After Dark!

FEATURED LOCATION: Island of Kaua'i shoreline.
FEATURED SPECIES: Moi (Pacific Threadfin).
In Hawaii, our target fish, Moi, is known as the "Fish of Kings" and the "King of Fishes". This fishing gang gets their fair share of Moi action once the sun goes down!
Certain times of the year weather conditions and fishing regulations become favorable for catching this prized fish. Tonight the fishing method includes sand spikes, light tackle rods and reels, Tako (Octopus) baited hooks and fishing weights. This is called "dunking".
Another must have gear for this type of activity is a headlight. And it never hurts to be with a big gang of fellow anglers to have a good time.
It was one of those times when the bite was on and everyone gets on the scoreboard! Right on!
