LGBT Pride in London was a lively parade that was different from previous years. More political. Less corporate. And a very strong transgender presence. Not so much a celebration as an act of defiance. And it was clear that young people of all sexualities are rejecting the anti-trans message of the Terfs (trans-exclusionary radical feminists) even if they are making headway with the establishment. Gen-Z is clearly more tolerant and unprepared to see equality and civil liberties undermined. Join TV historian Tony McMahon who visited the huge march and parade in London on Saturday July 1, 2023.
