Innocent even. But he has such a beautiful way of saying hate. Gtfooh.

Thats a shame because what hes saying here is so profoundly uninteresting and thoughtless. Its like he heard norm macdonalds joke about it not really being a community and didnt realise that it was just a joke. Community is just another way of saying subculture, and obviously generalising about a subculture is not supposed to be a description of each individual.

This is how people try tp break down democracies and take advantage of gullible or greedy people. Some people, if they get attention or money they'll break a democracy in an instant apparently and its no different to religions. You dont make laws based on individual preference but on a group needs. people tend to forget why these communities where created in the first place. most of them just want to be able to live without being judged on who they are.

Generalisation: The LGBTQ+ community wants to be treated fairly and express their sexuality without judgements ________ its hard to talk about a group of individuals. stereotyping is when you talk about a group in general assuming things about them based without looking at their belief but by looking at your own opinion and biases. Like what you just did talking about "lefties" you assumed the group think. you can generalize a group of people like communities that have specific grievances that they made their community specifically to talk and share about.

you know this is how politically correct terms are created. generalisation can be good to a certain degree. you do not help the homeless by ignoring the problem and changing their name to unhoused.

Someone asked David Niven if he liked the French/Americans/Germans/British. He said no to them all. When then asked who he did like, he replied 'I like my friends'. Classic common sense.

Usually he speaks against the ideology and rhetoric within that encourages group think, collective pride and severe intolerance to any criticism. The doctrine is to submit to decrees that cannot be questioned with a duty to spread this to others. Muslims aren’t supposed to expose another Muslims sin either and have been instilled with xenophobia to see non Muslims as lesser. It is the very antithesis of what he is speaking about here with regards to individualism.

In the US, being LGBT means you're part of a "protected class" and thus have special rights, such as being able to force a baker to bake a cake for you or go deal with the Supreme Court. Obviously, I agree with his basic point.

I agree the way you said it. Not the way he does. He took it a step too far. generalisation is useful and community form from these generalised common grievances they have. Stereotypes are misleading and dangerous against individuals. the nuances here is important and he completely miss the mark on that regards.
