Holy Moses, thank you for this. My model (WM4500HBA) is five or six years old at this point (4/24). Was able to hold the “Extra rinse” function button and voilà! Getting ready for a trip have no time for a repair man! Thank you!!

Thank you. CL was me yes to clear Child Lock. Pressed and hold like 3 seconds accordingly to the indication right edge the display. It was Media Rinse + Pre wash.

I just had this problem....... and non of this worked 4 me.........but hold on....sorry and i TY...I have a newer machine...."CL=Control Lock" on my LG Washing Machine.....so I looked at the panel......N...bottom right hand corner.... noted directly under the wording "Signal Off"....anyways......I pressed and held for 3-5 seconds and problem solved.........TY for the helpful info....the press and hold helped me a lot........I APPRECIATE U Much.............Blood Pressure slowly goin back to normal......LOL....have a Blessed Day Yall
