I'm using the Stylo 6 also I'm pleasantly surprised by how smooth it works.screen is huge and looks beautiful. I do get the a20 has a technically better display but I'm just tired of watching vids in 720. Camera on the Stylo 6 is pretty decent the video is ok

Samsung better than LG. Especially in budget segment. Samsung stepped up their budget game big time especially with updates. Even my mom's j7 star got an Android update and from MetroPCS of all places. They aren't playing games!

I just purchased the a20 after watching your videos. I highly respect your opinions. I've ALWAYS had the Stylos since there came out but I didn't know they were launching a stylo 6 though. I LOVE having a giant screen so the 6 appeals to me a lot but I'm still super glad I got the a20. I really love this phone. The 720p display doesn't bother me even though my previous phone (the stylo 4) had 1080p. The AMOLED screen really does make such a difference. I've never owned a Samsung til now and now I don't know if I'll ever go back lol thanks Kevin, always enjoy your videos.

this is the only guy i see if i planing to buying cellphone, speaks very clear always on point he pretty much could clear any concern you have , covers all pros and cons very detail in his spec description, i seen others so call open box youtubers they give you headache not advise. but this guy 10+

@@steven37c Wrong! I actually Love my Stylo 6. Big vivid color screen and smooth internet surfing. The battery life is excellent too. 64 mgs of storage. Personally I prefer the Stylo6. Ive had mine for an entire month now

Do you have a scorecard/leaderboard of sub $400 phones? I'm looking to see how the Moto Stylus ranks in the overall pack.

I just got a Stylo 6 two weeks ago and I love it!! It comes with 64gig memory and u can upgrade to 2T if need be. I love the long length of it, it has a lot of room on the screen to watch anything u want to. I only pay $10.50 a month for this phone thru T*Mobile. It costs $250.00 otherwise, through t*mobile.

There putting it out but T mobile has the 64 storage with boost mobile . It will be 32 at Sprint am guessing it will be like that at MetroPCS by T mobile.

Can you move apps from internal storage to the sd card on the Stylo 6??? The Stylo 5 can't do this and uses all my internal storage for apps.

I've been trying to order the stylo 6 all day now from the boost website but it keeps telling me my address is invalid lol. Am i the only one having this problem?

Not really because is Samsung a20 only got 32gb, the stylo 6 got 64gb of internal memory the same as my Samsung Galaxy 8 plus , the memory counts to how fast your phone runs

Recently upgraded from the galaxy a20 to the a71. I was very pleased with it for the short while I had it. Downgrading from a note 8 to the a20 wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I originally paid $100 for the a20 and for that price I don't think any other budget phone even comes close. The super AMOLED screen looked great despite only being 720p, I would choose an AMOLED display over the lg ips screen even though it's a lower resolution. Overall I'm very impressed with the quality you get with budget phones now a days. The a21 will should be another big hit for Samsung when it releases.

Thanks for the video. I am leaning toward the a20, but the stylo 6 has twice the memory and I need that. Is it expensive to add memory to the a20 (which is $30 cheaper on boost website)?

You can get up to 512 GB with a20 you just need to add storage so it's not a deal breaker I say go for a20

You should definitely wait until Samsung releases a successor to the A20 before you upgrade. You won't get much more with the A20 if you upgrade now.

People need to stop looking so deep into specs, these are close enough. I owned the A20 for 6 Months, replaced it with the Stylo 5 a few months back & i couldn't be happier. If ur more creative by far get the Stylo, soooo much more you can do with the built in Stylis, gif capture, so much creative software LG crammed in their phone.

LG should make a Plus/Pro variant of the Stylo for let's say, about $399. OLED, an SDM high-end 6 series chip, better speakers and gorilla glass since I see no mentioning of that. That'd be cool.

Lg makes the v series phones which are high end and usual lk y have great promotions erc, a used v30 or v40 are pretty cheap and in the same caliber as a Samsung s9 only you do lose the stylus pen🤷‍♂️

The Stylos are slowly getting better. If they would bump up the camera a bit get rid of the 13 Mp. The camera still didn't look too bad.

That's bad the a20 is higher in benchmark than the stylo 6 as the stylo 6 is a recent release phone and the a20 is last year.

The only thing I'm gonna say is that LG thinks a bigger screen and a stylus means they can cut corners in other departments. I like the way it looks but they should've just used the 450 again and overclocked it like the A20 is.

@@waxdoe115 this was a big disappointment. I was like man the Stylo 6 is gonna be a beast when I upgrade my 4(the 5 as you know was no different, so no need to upgrade) then we get this phone. I was like ok I'll take a notch if it had to have it. Then they released it. I was like wow it beautiful. Now I just needed to hear the specs. Then I was disappointed. Like the P35? Really LG, Really? Not even the P60? I'll pass. Hopefully the next one has a Dimensity 800. Because this is just a waste of time and money.

I still have both these fones and i love both!

Had an A20 until yesterday. First time I've been responsible for ruining a phone unfortunately, but that was completely my fault. Really very good phones, though I would say the finger print sensor is quite fickle. Just keep them away from water!!! My Stylo 6 comes next week and I couldn't be more excited.

Get the A51. They have them on Amazon and no other phone in this price range can match it. But if you can hold out and save a little more go with the A51 5G when Samsung releases it.

LG skimped too much on the Stylo 6 imo as they should have gone with a Snapdragon/4GB RAM. So if we had to pick one I'd likely choose the A20 mainly due to its smaller size... Have little need for a device w/stylus. Again impressive your videos are now shot w/A51!

Going to stay with my LG S3 Plus for now. Send the Stylo 6 back. Slow & app opening not smooth at all. Processer does not seem to be strong enough or the 3gb ram keeps the LGS6 hanging a lot. Will see if the unlocked unit has better specs.

I'm on the Stylo 3 plus, can't wait for my Stylo 6 to come in the mail.

Trust me, the SD630 series have lower clock speeds but they max out all the time so you may feel heat quicker.

Lg 6 screen is way too dark. Deal breaker

I have the Samsung note on and the stylo 6. On my wifi the stylo is just as fast loading as the note 9. My favorite of the 2....the stylo. Because the speakers are a BEAST!!!!

I was with boost mobile for years. I loved everything about them as a carrier.. Cheap plans, 15 day grace period on bill for long time customers.. But can't use the internet during phone calls.. 😕 Has that changed? Because I'll leave metro through T-Mobile and go back today to get this LG 😂💪💗

It won't be changing anytime soon. It has to do with their network, CDMA. Almost everyone else uses GSM which allows simultaneous voice and internet use, CDMA doesnt.

Great review again Kevin. I i had stylo 3 an 4 . I like the use of the stylus. I would have went to 5 but there was no big difference to the stylo 4. After your review at that time i went to the A20. This is a great choice for all the pluses u mentioned in this review. I do miss the stylus though, but after seeing LG really hasn't stepped up the game im still very happy with my A20.

LG seems to be removing face unlock with all their new phones for some reason. Even flagships like the V60. I considered buying that phone but no face unlock was certainly a deal breaker.

How is the sound on a phone call on the Samsung A20. I have a Lg k20 plus and i can't hear who's calling me unless i have it on speaker. That's the only problem that i have had with my phone but i want a phone where i don't have to use the speaker on phone calls. Someone please give me some advice on what phone to buy. i got android 10 on my a 20 back in September in my opinion DONT UPDATE it lags SOO badly i even factory reset and it did not make a difference I have got 3 updates after android 10 that said "improved performance" at it did very little if anything at all

I got the A20 when I switched to Metro. Then I switched to Cricket because i was not happy with the reception Metro had. I got the Stylo 6 and had high hopes for it. The speaker is very loud which is nice, but after using it for a couple months. I see the A20 out performs the Stylo 6. The Stylo 6 is lags and when video chatting the sound doesn't match the video. The big screen is all show and doesn't have the processing power to back it up. A20 is the winner for me when it comes to speed.

Do you know when the a20 will be updated?
