I might too disappointed with no 5-6 gb of ram tho. But i Proably keep my 5x and wait to see if they do a stylos 6 upgrade. I dont mind paying 250-400 for an upgraded 6.0. But its very affordable. 180-250 starting price. That 6.8 screen is better than alot of more expensive phones

How is it

Another con to the Stylo 6: No notification LED. The Stylo 5 had it & I used it to monitor my phone's battery charging when it was off. When the LED shut off when the phone was off & charging I knew the 5 was fully charged

I just watched your video on the Lg Stylo 6, pros n cons. I just received the Stylo 6 yesterday, haven't set it up yet, waiting for a cover to arrive first. I have had Lg phones for some time, prior was Motorola. I really like Lg, my current one , Lg k20V , is 3 yrs old and still good, only bought new battery but the memory is only 16gb and can't update apps. So I chose the stylo 6 for the 64gb and the lower price, I have and always had Vzw. So I think I will like the new Stylo 6, just seems like alot to learn.

My iPhone 7 Plus just quit working recently and I'm planning to get this phone on Saturday, after switching from Sprint to T-Mobile. Can't wait. 😁

I had the Stylo 4 & recently upgraded to Stylo 6. I really like it. I love how big it is. So far it works pretty good

I love my A10e! I like the "Water Drop Notch" and aggressively rounded corners. I can record in 19.5:9 in Stereo which I think is cool for a budget Camera.

I have mine about a month, it's pretty decent. Good review!!

I hope one day that someone will do a long video comparing every Motorola phone with every LG Phone

How are the cameras? Specially the front facing camera? Is it an improvement over the the Stylo 5? I know the 6 has a higher mp count, but is the camera drastically better?

Kevin I hope you can do another video later on about the battery life. The Stylo 5 had real good battery life for a 3500 mah battery so I expect this to have awesome battery life.

Face unlock? I never cared for it tbh. It's a pointless feature in my opinion. Never used it in my A20 and never will.

I honestly hate face unlock because I use my screen as a mirror do my make-up sometimes. AND the fingerprint scanner is wayyyyy faster

Face unlock was great on the A20 how the light turns on when recognizing your face .. and it's quicker then the fingerprint scanner .. options is always good.

Great review! I am sure that all phones have their pros and cons. I hope that in the case of the Stylo 6 the pros will outweigh the cons. Maybe when LG comes out with a Stylo 6+ phone, then some of these missing features that you addressed will be added to it. In my opinion, the pros outweigh the cons, at least enough to consider purchasing it when it becomes available in a retail outlet.

@Sebastian the Alcatel 3V 2019 is a very interesting phone from the company. Huge display, giant battery, Stereo Speakers, Mediatek Helio P60 chipset, and solid cameras. Not to mention a relatively clean OS

I've had the LG Stylo since Stylo 2 or 3. I had the stylo 4 was waiting for the 5 and when it came out, it was just the stylo 4. I had been waiting for the 6. It didn't look like it was coming out any time soon. As there were no mentions of it at all. So, I started shopping around. Today? The Moto G Stylus came out in Metro, so I got that. So far? Loving it. 128G Storage? Hell Yes!!

Do you know anything about any problems with the mobile hotspot for the LG stylo 6. Just got one and it seems not to let me connect any devices unlock my old stylo 4 which would without a problem

I don't mind a dimmer screen. But seeing your last video made me positive I want to get one. I have the Stylo 4 and my fiance has the Stylo 5

Don't forget that one of the pros for the Stylo 6 is dual-firing speakers that produce a pleasing stereo sound for a budget phone. The processor and camera are adequate for basic functions like phone usage, email and social media. The screen brightness was surprisingly adequate even at a setting of 66%. The 3 GB of RAM is disappointing. If the Motorola G Stylus 2021 had dual-firing speakers, then I would be looking hard at buying one when my 6 conks out. Maybe Motorola will wise up and put stereo speakers on their next phone. I hate that we will never see the Stylo7. :( Oh what might have been! :(

Volume is normal for what you find on all $150 or less phones. Yes this has two speakers, but its not that loud, the two speakers just make things more clearer to hear, but not louder. Not significantly anway. There is one problem I notice with the volume and that is that you basically cant hear anything unless it around 70% or higher. Its like the volume is turned off or basically the same from 10%-50%, and then it kicks in around 70%. Yeah its odd. at 100% it sounds just as loud as all regular phones, but lower than 70% and its basically off.

Couple of months ago upgraded from a LG Stylo 4 to a Stylo 6 for $149 or $189. Not bad.. All the spec's are there except the 4 gb ram, its very slow to download an app or social media (wait for a few seconds to boost network). The volume is very loud and there's a 3D X surrounded sounds, long and wide for a 6.8" screen, storage 64 gb and up. (For another sd card storage) and whatso happen just heard there's a new LG Stylo 7 coming out late 2021. I didn't expected that.. But the phone is good, just alittle small upgraded on the screen protection, waterproof case and larger storage sim/sd card

I purchased this phone as i was on a very limited budget and i normally use a Samsung note 10. I obviously prefer the note but still get my "note fix" with this stylo 6. Also i can find this phone for 50 to 70 dollars with a no contract provider. Boost and metro both. And this ohobe is definitely worth that price tag any day.

Can't wait to get his phone I currently have the Lg Stylo 5

Is it easy to lose the pen if for some reason it doesn't or you forget to push it in all the way

we're trying to decide if the Samsung A51 is worth $140 more than the Stylo 6. We are upgrading from a Samsung J3 (gen3), so either phone would be an improvement. I know 4GB is better than 3, and 128BG is better than 64, but we are struggling to justify $140 more for it. Opinions?

I was going to get this but then the new Moto stylist came out on MetroPCS I want to get that one instead

The Stylo 5 was a disappointment, as it was the same as the Stylo 4.

I'm waiting for the 7 in April.

How do you turn off the proximity sensor of the dial pad app? Or, at least increase the time the dial pad is active on this phone. None of the WEB instruction corresponds to my Stylo 6 phone. And don't anybody say anything about going into the Settings/display options and change them cause I have already done that.

Mine goes Almost 2 days on a Full charge.. The Battery is its Best feature.. screen is Ok.. Rest Sucks

The notch compared to my Xserve max feels bad sometimes but it’s whatever at this point.

Personally I'm happy there's a 6 phone. I thought LG was discontinuing the stylo series. So YES I'm happy for that. Maybe they could patch the brightness level on the phone with an upgrade. Let's hope. Still will be a fan with these stylo phones.

Does Lg have an affiliate program?

No no..not even close to the Note series. Go to the V55 or V60 ( but the v60 was dropped to 1080P display only )

The cons were nothing to me aside from the screen brightness. I have a stylo 3, so I'm stoked to upgrade.

I have the phone now. My biggest complaint is the battery life. Its not sufficient. Aside from that the phone is good. The screen is long for no reason. I think its only ever seems amazing as a movie screen.

I went back to my stylo 3..that was what i was upgrading from...my Stylo 3 downloads 3.5 times in downloading compared to the style 6 Yet they Both have a Cat 6 modem.. Next month.. I will try out the Motorola Styles G.. It has twice the memory of the stylo 6.. Plus has 4 gig of ram.. Plus uses a Cat 13 modem.. Granted the LG looks far nicer.. Yet the styles G has all the tecknical advantages

I was a big fan of LG Stylo ,had the 4, and upgraded to the 5,the first upgrade bit the dust in 20 days, I thought, ok, I got a bad device,it happens, I got a second one immediately , it lasted for about a year before it decided to have screen problems much like the first, I'm on a Moto G stylus right now, feeling a little snake bit on the last 2 LGs

Will you compare this to the LG K51?

No notification light , no app to SD , no screen mirror, no super AMOLED. But big screen.

Lg g stylo 6 or Revvl 4 + ?

Using the Stylo 6 right now... 1. No back button SUCKS! Especially when using chrome which doesn't have one. Imagine trying to quickly close pop ups! I had to download samsung internet which has a back option just to not tear my hair out. 2. The predictive text sucks too, it pops up an option to save a misspelled word to the dictionary RIGHT OVER THE SUGGESTION box, so you have to click on something else to make it go away, then chose your correct spelling. Switching back and forth between keyboard screens to punctuate words like, I'll, I'm, and you're; as well as add any punctuation besides a period is infuriating considering the software to fix that issue has existed for a decade now. 3. The SD card tray is RIDICULOUS to move if you do something like graphic design and are constantly swapping them between devices which I do. Oh and needing a special tool to do it is PURE GENIUS too! There's also no auto correct feature. You will be spending a lot of time deleting and retyping words instead of having it be automatic like almost EVERY OTHER DEVICE OUT THERE! The ram sucks too. It appears all 64 gigs went to storage. Its freezing up while switching apps and even lagging during screen rotation! Lastly while typing this the keyboard crashed! Its brand new and not laggy due to overstuffed memory and apps. I can only imagine how badly I'll want to smash it into dust after some use and a couple updates ruin the UI! I really wish I had financed an old S8 instead! #regrets

I Just 3 days ago.. UpGraded from stylo 3 to Stylo 6.. Benifits of the stylo 6 is.. Android 10.... Great 4000 mah battery..nice looking though slightly dim screen..but a nice size screen.. nice styles pen.. The downside.. Very poor and slow processor ( still uses only a Cat 6 modem..like my stylo 3..yet..my stylo 3 downloas 3.5 times faster ) Only 3 gig ram..should of been 4 to 6 gig ram.. In my view.. I now have a Stylo 6 paper weight.. Thie is the worst cel i've bought in 15 years )

I got my girlfriend this phone when I added her on my line and honestly it’s good phone but I wish it had a better chipset.

I feel like the Blu g9 is still a better value, considering it's had almost the same specs since last year.

Lg phones have too many pre-installed apps that update regularly and eats a lot of internal memory. Unless lg fix this issue, I love to go back to lg phone.

Mediatex processor and the fact that it will not get Android 11 or many security patches unlike Motorola g stylus which will get 11 in q2

Stylo 6 is good but to be real people would drop 250 on the TCL 10 L which is better all around

Internal storage is better cuz sd cards doesn't support all apps making them insignificant if you ask me.

You should do a speed test lg stylo 6 vs a food stamp obama phone.

No it is not because the Screen Is much larger and the Mediatek Processor is not as efficient as the Moto G Stylus's Snapdragon 665. I think LG Should of put a larger battery in the phone Like a 4500 Mah Battery or a 5000 Mah Battery.

It kinda look like LG Velvet. Industrial yet elegant.

I never used face unlock. I prefer the fingerprint sensor. I do need a bright screen since I live in Texas. It get really sunny. Plus I frequent the sunshine state, since my dad still lives in Miami. I do use NFC, so that is important to me. Right now the TCL 10L is the better phone for me. The Motorola G Stylus has no NFC and is overpriced.

The Moto G Stylus is Not Overpriced It is Better than The TCL 10L Because the TCL10L Has Lag Issues.

When it comes to Straight Talk I'll pick on up. I like this a lot better than the 4 and 5.
