I have a G6. I left it on top of my car's roof and drive off. 5 hours later I realized it wasnt lost, but most likely on the side of the road. I gps tracked it about 1/4 mile from my house and the screen was broken. The back of my thin case and pop socket had rock divets on them, so I knew it had gotten run over. I got a new screen and battery installed and it still works, I'm still using it.

yeah the dreaded kink by the power/volume. Happened to me, luckily amazon let me return it for a full refund 6 months later. Never again go Huawei, they wont honor their warrantys and are cheaply/poorly made.

Souls aren't very resistant they scratch at level 2 with deeper grooves at level 3.

Love your videos. Questions: How tough or reliable are those screen protectors or tempered glass screen protectors? Have you done any experiment on them. I was always sceptical of them.

This phone actually really impressed me. I have an iphone 6 rn and i love it, but i'm soon going to be upgrading, and theres no way in hell im getting an iphone 7, i love my music AND headphone jacks. well they performed pretty much the same in all the tests except that the Nokia 6 has a cloth speaker grill so I'd say G6, but we should not forget that the N6 is like only 1/3 the price of a G6.

Still have using my unlocked G6 after 2 years. This phone does not get enough recognition! I have yet to have issues with it besides the occasional slowdown but returns to normal after a day and that's only happened a few times. It is still super quick too. Not to mention the 4k uhd HDR display and 4k Video recording for a phone that came out in 2017. This phone is a beast.

I'd rather BUY a G6 instead of an S8

Great video as always but why do u say that having the camera lens flush will be more susceptible to scratching? Won't the protruding type like iPhone be worse? I'm confused. I haven't seen a recessed one so that's a non- starter

Mine is okay screen cracked headphone jack broke and the charger is crunchy edit: i just upgraded to the lg g8x with the dual screen

I have had my G6 since it first came out it is still in really good physical and working condition and I have had it for more than a year and a half very happy with it I have had the same screen protector on it since I got it too

i hope this doesn't get lost, because i would really like you to do a durabilioty test of the fairphone 2. i think its a really cool smartphone idea and could really help getting the idea more public

With Spigen case - super durable set and it covers all the issues mentioned with lens protection and direct contact with the screen when resting face down :-) Got it, like it very much. Nice test.

I got my LG G6 from an insurance replacement with AT&T. It's a significant upgrade from the HTC One A9 that this replaced. My larger hands grip the phone well and it feels comfortable so that's a plus, and I also agree with JRE when he says to get a screen protector and a case/skin. The back is a serious fingerprint magnent and the camera, while flush, gives an uneasy feeling leaving it on a rough surface.

I have had this phone for almost 2 years and it is a very good phone. My only issue is the camera that used to work so perfectly and take great pictures changed. The camera area got scratched. The fingerprint function stopped working on its own but never cared to fix it. The phone is waterproof for sure.

i have a challenge for you try to open the xbox afterglow controller without letting ppl see what's inside plz do it

May I have the LG G6 that you used in this scratch, burn, and bend test if you aren't using it anymore? Looks like it would still work for many years to come.

My LG G6 fell on the rock solid ground , on the road on the 2nd day I bought it. It was without any skin or cover. Although it got a bit of scratch on the sides. But I was really happy.

Hey Jerry, I recently (about a month ago) got a Huawei Mate 9. I know the glass is Gorilla Glass 3, and saw your durability video showing that the screen meets the hardness requirement for that. However there are several little what I'd call dents that look like small stains on the screen, that can't be removed and seem to be areas where the top coating of the glass has come off. Do you know what could have caused this, and what I can do to fix my screen? The pixels in these areas are slightly warped so when watching videos it's kinda annoying.

Nope, that's the weird thing about it all. Since I got it I've only used it with the official flipcase on it, so the screen is protected at pretty much all times. Yet still these weird dents appeared...
