Thank you so much! This video has been a lifesaver for me. The dryer wouldn't turn so I had to learn how to take it apart. The problem turned out to be a sock stuck in the intake. Preventing the motor from turning.

Great video, just changed the heater fuse. This is the 2nd time I've taken the dryer apart, the first time was with out for video and your video saved me from removing so many screws I didn't need to remove. Glad I found it. A+

Thank you for the very helpful video. My parents had gotten used to running a load 2-3 times to get it dry. I cleaned the vent and found nothing (it had recently been cleaned), but taking apart the dryer I found lent all over the interior of the dryer, namely on the heating element itself (burnt black) and hairs/string/etc. wrapped around the shaft between the motor and fan. Of the two, I think the hair around the motor was impacting the performance more, but both were obviously huge concerns. The hair came off easily enough using needle nose pliers. Now it runs like new! Also, it involves heavy lifting but you can follow the steps in this video even if your dryer is mounted on top of your washer.

Followed the video and lo and behold there was 1 sock. Removed everything, removed sock from blower housing, reinstalled everything and cleaned duct work ( it was apart anyway). Installed duct work fired it up and works perfect. Under an hour with the cleanup. Ps. when the warning says "SHARP" put gloves on. Thank you for your informative video.

My LG is of the same design/model line but a condenser dryer. It keep leaking underneath. Some times it just stops mid drying cycle. Runs fine if I restart it, and still dries clothes fine. Everyone keep saying this is a typical problem, but no one says what to look for. I'm a bit concerned about running it "uncovered" to try to locate the issue. Given that the leak isn't huge, I might not even be able to find it that way if its "hot leak". Any ideas or suggestions?

Very helpful, on the link I saw more videos to test thermostat, fuse, and heat element, I did and show on multimeter that they were good. Then I checked the house breakers and only one was working. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Hi, does LG sell a front panel replacement for the steam dryer DLEX4500B (without the door) ? The installer scratched and kinked the bottom right of the panel. Thank you!

I have the DLEX2501V very similar to this. I just moved, changed from a 3 to 4 prong plug with the new house. Had my son turn it on for a second to make sure everything worked. It did, and he shut it right off. Now I have power, the door light comes on but the power button does nothing, no display lights, nothing happens. Any ideas?

My washer/dryer were sitting in storage for 3 yrs, and rats or mice chewed through the valve hose drain pump and drain hose. I’ve bought all the parts and didn’t think how they may have done damage to the dryer as well so we shall see

I have Stackable Gas Dryer model DLG2251W, Its been great up until now, 8 years later. It runs fine, but when the LG stackable lower washer is on spin cycle, the dryer above is making a loud vibration but contacting the LEFT Unit facing side wall. It seems like metal on metal noise. The noise is NOT present when the dryer is on, ONLY when the washer is ON SPIN CYCLE. The mounting kit looks inline, glue sealant adhered and front mounting bar and screws are tight. When I put a level on top of stacked dryer, it shows tilting TOWARD the side of dryer making contact with side wall of unit and measures out of balance by only the thickness of a dime. When washer on spin and dryer vibrating badly, when I press IN on the SIDE WALL of the FRONT LEFT FACING THE UNIT, the vibration nose stops. So I believe its an issue with the Dryer. Maybe something loose? It’s a confined space and I could use any Diagnosis of what to look at before I struggle taking the dryer off as I am alone and it’s a confined space. Thanks

+Robert Grlic There will likely be some lint that you can clean up by removing the rear panel.

How do you remove just the side panel to replace the rubber pipes that carry the water from the condenser to the water container above. I've removed all the screws but the panel is still attached by a few "clips" at the bottom

Hello all, I have a question, could someone help me please... I live in Chile and purchased an LG sensor dry 9kg. front loader about two years ago we have a family of 6 and use the dryer daily, multiple times a day. It has the condensation reservoir on the left side and is has a sensor on the inside of the drum that seems to be malfunctioning but i am not sure how to troubleshoot it to make sure that the sensor is the problem. There is no LCD display to run a systems function test (frustrating.) The dryer is only 2 years old and we have used LG front loaders our whole 11 year married carrier with no problems. This dryer however is posing this problem: Every time I run a load about 25-45 minutes, the load of cloths stops spinning , the cloths are still soaked. There is a ton of vapor in the drum with the clothes and the dryer beeps continuously until it shuts off. My trouble shooting: 1. pouring our the reservoir which is usually empty. 2. cleaning our the lint compartment including using my spray hose (85psi) in the lint compartment itself. 3. removed the vapor sensor on the inside of the drum and cleaned it, reattached. (it was pretty clean.) 4. Taking out the condenser and soaking it in vinegar 24 hours and spraying it off with HPA(high pressure air) I really cant afford to purchase a new dryer. Im pretty sure i'm over warranty... YIKES!! PLEASE HELP??? Very much appreciate any info. Jesus is Lord. God Bless.
