Dryers aren't nearly as scary as they look. Took mine apart, found the problem, ordered the part, put it together. All thanks to you.
Couldn't get a repairman for a week and you just let us fix it in an hour. Thank you, thank you!
After my Samsung Dryer fell apart and Samsung refused to even acknowledge their product was defective, I decided to tackle it myself. I went to the repair clinics site, found my dryer drum under my model number and ordered it. It arrived in great condition quickly and folowing this repair clinic video, I removed the old drum and installed the new one in less than 2 hours. I am now a fan of Repair Clinic. I highly recommend their business and their installation videos.
Thank you so much for publishing this. One of the most helpful how-to videos posted on KZread. It was clear, accurate, and high quality. Thanks for making my repair so much easier.

Outstanding video. Simple, sequential, really excellent teaching design. Helped me immensely and want to thank you for posting.
Thanks for the highly detailed and visualized installation instructions. I was finally able to repair the belt and pulley on my dryer because of your video. Your dryer was exactly like mine, except for the light connection. Reconnecting the belt took a while because it needed stretching a bit, but your video was on point. Excellent job! 👍👍
7 year old dryer stopped drying clothes. I'm marginally handy around the house. I viewed a few videos and figured out how to check the heating element with a meter and confirmed it was bad. With this video, and another by repairclinic.com I completely took apart my dryer at 9pm on a sunday. RepairClinic.com videos were super helpful. I decided to purchase the heating element from RepairClinic. It should arrive in 2 days and hopefully I'll be able to put everything back together. I took pictures so should be ok. Thanks so much. I feel very accomplished. Sure beats paying $300+ for a tech to come out and do it or, worse, paying $1000 for a new dryer.
this is exactly what I was looking for. thank you
even a 2019 samsung dryer hasn't changed much which makes this video incredibly useful today. Had a samsung gas dryer, just need to remember unplug outlet and close gas line. thank you for saving me money and time.
Your instructions are perfect. Couldn't have repaired my Samsung dryer without it.

Phenomenal videos... Informed me what to test for and where. Allowing me to seamlessly repair my Samsung dryer!!!!!THANK YOU!!!!!!
Thank you. Our model is years newer, but this video was still spot on. The only difference was that the control panel was a lot harder to pull off due to extra plastic clips in difficult-to-reach spots. For reference, our issue was a shattered idler pulley wheel.

Fantastic tutorial. Seriously. Extra points for specifically showing screws on the way out and when replacing them. This is a HUGE thing since many tutorials of all kinds just say something like, “and then put everything back the way you found it” without showing it.
This video has helped me twice so far. Once to replace the motor, and then to replace the heating element. Thank you so much!
Excellent video. Easy to follow directions. Can't ask for anything more.
Very helpful, thanks! I was able to take the dryer apart and found the heating coil to be the problem. Saved lots of $$$
Half a million views. Thank you for posting this. We want to fix our stuff.
I’d like to add one detail that I found out the hard way. After setting the drum in, when installing the belt, your arm presses right against the wires that go to the heating element. Mine pulled off and I didn’t notice, so I had to take it back apart just to plug the wires back on to the heating element. Thank you for the great video!
Thank you! You've saved me at least a couple hundred dollars.
Thanks! This was exactly the video I needed to do the work myself.

Thank you for another thing I learned today.
Brilliant tutorial video. It is well paced, correctly sequenced (complete disassembly followed by re-assembly), and camera angles and lighting is perfect. I have a different model Samsung dryer, but the steps and dryer construction are essentially the same. A pen dropped from the lint trap opening into the blower assembly. After removing the front panel, removing the blower cover revealed the plastic blower fan blades. The pen was underneath the blades, but simply rotating the drum popped the pen up into the blades allowing me to pull it out. Thanks for producing this. It made what have could have been an expensive service call into a simple 30 minute job.

Thank you for this video! It really helped me a lot! I have a slightly older model of this machine and for the most part everything was the same. My dryer stopped spinning over a week ago and noticed the drum was easy to spin so I had an idea that the belt snapped. Since I was going to be taking apart the machine to replace the belt anyway, I decided to also replace the pulley and the 4 wheels too. It wasn't that hard but it did take some time but I'm glad I also replaced the mentioned parts since the pulley and wheels and the rods the wheels where in were worn out . But in the end the dryer is working like new again.

Hi Repair clinic This really a fantastic video you have there. Thank you. We just bought the samsung DV80F5E5HGW dryer and trying to connect the drain hose with the 2 m long black hose that came with the dryer exactly like it says in the manual, but it won't work. The dryer stops drying and shows a red sign on the screen that he cannot get rid of the water. I connected then back again just like it was in the beginning to ensure then that the water would flow into the water-shelf but that now doesn't work either. Have you had this before. do I need to do sth else?

Hello I have a problem with mine it starts to smell like burnt was that your problem ?
@pinkzombierabbit
Жыл бұрын
@@kevinherrera2403 My issue was that the machine was not heating up properly. If your machine is smelling burnt it may be that lent or debris has built up somewhere inside the machine a failing motor heating element or strap. I would Google burning smell while running dryer to get ideas on how to troubleshoot. If you decide to open the machine you may be able to find one of these issues in your machine.
I have a Samsung dryer, model DV337AEL/XAA. I need to replace the belt, but cannot figure out how to get the top/front control panel off. The top panel is off, and all 6 screws are off, but it's not coming off. Do I need to take off the front door first?
Thanks for the video, taking my Samsung front load was a snap. Just vacuumed the lint out. It's been running for one cycle and then won't turn back on for about an 45 mins to an hour and then if you start it again, it only runs for a few mins. I have to let it sit for a few hours to run another "full dryer cycle." If cleaning the lint out, doesn't fix it, I'll order some parts from you, just because the videos you provided were so helpful! Replaced idler pulley and spring. Now if you stand on front of the dryer the drum is turning the wrong way (clockwise) runs for 10-15 seconds and shuts off ?
How comes the control panel come out so easy , usually is very hard for o take it out because of the clips and most of the times when I open one the clips are broken

I know this is 9 months later and probably too late, but for anyone else coming late - yes, the Kenmore Elite I have, which I purchased in Canada, model # 592-893040 - was built by Samsung and is almost identical to the dryer in this video.
Excellent video as others ave said. Just curious though, at 3:08 you show detachment of a water inlet...in an electric dryer? Again at 4:19, you show re-attachment of said "water inlet". I'm fairly certain that there is no water inlet in my machine.....

Good question! This particular model has a steam feature that requires water. Therefore, a water inlet valve is necessary. If your dryer does not have a steam feature, it won't have such a part. :)

Hi Repair Clinic, My Samsung drier wont start. I probably messed it up; the other day, I was emptying it and inorder to reach out to some clothes I was rotating the drum and by accident rotated it anticlockwise. This is when it caused a clank sound. The drier was turned off all through this. Subsequently, the drier would not start. Could you please suggest what could have gone wrong? Do you think the door switch was damaged? What is that 'clank' sound due to? Your video guides me how to access each part in the drier, but I need to know which part is gone bad, so I can place order and replace. I would sincerely appreciate your help. Thanks. Raj

The belt might have come off the idler pulley or the spring came off when you rotated the drum opposite way.
If you wanna test your thermal fuse or heating element there a access panel on back that the lint tube comes out , take that off and you can reach in and test your thermal fuse,
