That hight is not healthy for your neck, the upper edge of the screen should be at eyes level so you do not need to look up. Believe me this is coming form a computer engineer who spent thousand of dollars at physiotherapy and orthopedists due to side effects of elongated neck strains.

I just have a cheap 43 inch 4k TV that I use as a monitor, and it looks amazing. I can only imagine how good this one looks. They had them on for $299 so I gave it a try, and it's so bright, colorful, and sharp. Even at like 2 feet away you can't see the individual pixels. Like an iPhone. Just crisp. It gives you so much screen real estate and is like a breath of fresh air after getting home from work where I use a regular 27 inch LCD monitor. I just don't get people with their little dim laptop screens. I'll probably go blind or get puckered eyes, but the 4K TV looks sweet as a computer screen.

I used a 43" last year and it worked good. My work doesn't have the office space so my boss told me I'd be working from home for quite awhile so I decided to get a C1 48. The 43 was washed out in comparison and the blacks were more grey but the 43" did full chroma 4:4:4 so it displayed decent text but OLED really has it beat. If you plan to use it as a pc monitor it will work fine but if you have the budget I'd highly recommend a 42 or 48 oled.

And probably don't put it up on a monitor riser. This is the only channel I've seen where the TV has not been close to the desk. All ergonomics guides say the top of the monitor should be at eye level and that's already hard with a 42" TV. Raising it up further is not going to help.

@@Jay-xq1dc I have to take back my comment. I just set up this monitor today and it was too low on my desk. The top of the TV was below my eye level. The stand on this TV is really low compared to normal monitors. I have it up on my old monitor riser now and I think it might be a touch too high but I'll try it out until I can find a happy medium. Something I have noticed about auto-hiding the taskbar - there is still a grey line in the lower left from the search box and the active app icon. So it doesn't hide the task bar fully. That could be troublesome.

I like how light the 42" looks in comparison, I've had the 48" for almost 3 weeks and with a deep desk it's been great. Instead of a wall mount I've been looking at desk mount arms that will support and raise it high enough. Haven't found anything that looks good for the size/weight yet. That's not entirely true, and there is much evidence to support that higher refresh rate does make a difference. There is a big difference going from 60 Hz to 144 Hz, but less so from 144 Hz to 240 Hz (about 20 % of the improvement felt going from 60 Hz to 144 Hz). With that said, I went from a Samsung G7 240 Hz to C3 120 Hz and because of the very, very low latency of the C3, I felt no difference and also got the benefit of true HDR, better colors, bigger monitor etc. LG claims 0.03 ms latency for the C3, but it's been measured many times to 0.3 ms - a factor higher than claimed, it is still much MUCH faster than any VA/IPS panel.. often by a factor or more (3 - 5 ms gray-to-gray). I would choose the C3 over a VA/IPS 240 Hz any day.

Im typing this on a LG OLED 48' C1 right now and it's a little too big for desk use. It also looks like trash with the new Macbook Pros as they only support 60hz over HDMI and you cannot bypass it with a dongle as the C1 does not have Display port. Might be able to get it done with the LG C2.
