Ergonomic chair, desk pad, monitor arm, good mouse, good speakers --- check. All less expensive than your recommendations but, as you mentioned at the beginning, they do the job. And they fit my budget.

Good choice on speakers, also have the KEF LSX II's. Still on the fence on the Embody chair due to the loud squeaking noises.

Jesse do you stream or conference calls (Zoom, Webex, etc)? How does that work with the monitor? Or do you use your iPad for that?

Affordable chair alternatives can be chairs like the Ikea Markus, or Autonomous Ergo Chair/Pro. They are really good budget/Mid Range chairs and provide quite a bit of support. Agee a lot with adding lighting and personality to your setup. Especially if you are on a lot of Teams/Zoom calls. Its good to show a little bit of who you are. Good recommendations all around.

Typically you can pick up an used Aeron at a reasonable price (under $500), search office furniture brokers they will typically have them.

I would be interested to know more about options for speakers that will work with desk setup… I worry about older premium speakers that they won’t connect to modern computers

Love my Logitech embody chair, solid hardwood desk, accent lighting, and 5.1 Klipsch RP speakers. Good video.

Thanks for the recommendations, great video! Was wondering how you find the glide of the MX Master 3s on the grovemade deskmat? The mouse is heavy and I’ve not been able to find a good glide on many desk mats including the orbikey one. Am now considering getting the grovemade matt desk mat.

Yea I had the same issue with the Orbitkey mat. The grove made is definitely much less grippy and I’ve had no issues with the Mx master gliding on it

The main ones are called alluvia. Aluminum version of the gmk Olivia set. Very expensive keycaps lol
