The design is actually really nice..

Just about to buy this ...only reason for buying is that I don't have surround sound on ps4 and have to put volume turned al the way up with sound still low.... is volume ok with using surround sound/speakers 🤔🤔🤔

I purchased one and find the picture quality better for DVDs than using my Xbox One console, not sure if that's because of the 1080p upscaling (I'm using a 4K Samsung TV). The sound is smooth and clear as is using fast forward, rewind etc. Quite a snappy device.

These players are good. Even my cheap Panasonic blu-ray Player is better then PS3 and PS4 with DVDs..

Got the region free version today that's on Amazon. Very good and simple player. Very fast and silent. Nice for imports

Hello there, whilst watching a DVD film with a 4:3 screen ratio on a widescreen tv on the LG BP-250 Region free Blu-ray Player, are the blank sides black or white? I once had a player years ago that left the sides white and it was awful viewing. Hopefully this and all others are black! Thank you!

Do you know how i can play a region 1 standard DVD. Since its locked to region 2??

I have a tech challenging question. Can i... Watch Videos (MP4, MKV, AVI etc) via USB and does it read the SRT files (Subtitles). I download a lot of foreign movies and it somes with a subtitles file, i usually use VLC player on my laptop and it worked on my previous TV, Not on my new tv.. Im looking for a dvd player with usb that has this. i really need subtitles to read. Please if you own this dvd player, can you test this and let me know, even show me a snapshot or video would be appreciated and i can buy asap. Regards

I'd like to know one thing: Does it have gapless playback for Audio-CDs? As in, when you play an album, will the individual tracks go smoothly from one song to another or will there be a short break between the tracks?

More expensive ones rarely have a difference. Mainly watch 4Ks now anyway and import many Blu-rays

Thanx for your reply regarding the disc noise.. I think it is ok. But I am quite sensitive to noise. However I dont use it often because I mostly play video files via USB. And the player is a really good media player. It plays everything and switches automatically between 50,60hz and 24p.. Even files I downloaded from youtube he will switch to 24p if the original video was shot in 24p. For example Lady Gaga music video Judas is 24p. The player will display it in perfect original motion that you probably have never seen on TV/PC. Very cool and impressive! Built quality is nice too. I like that finish with the structure. It feels nice and premium. I messured the power draw. 5 Watts playing a Blu-ray. Ridiculous.. :D And when it is off, it is off. Zero Watts because no stupid online function :D A larger remote would be nice. I miss the brick size remotes from the 90s :D

Yes I am still using this please keep in mind that I mostly use Netflix so I may watuc a blueray maybe once a month. Works very well simple to use. Hope that helps you

Ive been using this players for both Region A and Region B but now i can't change the region. Anyone else have this issue?

Dvd has gone wild. It tries to read a disc when there is no disc in the player. It blinks and keeps blinking off and on. I read Samsung is having that problem with a lot of their DVDs systems. Something to do with June 20, 2020. This is the BD5700 Model.any suggestion on how to fix the problem?

Hi Catherine, all you need to do is plug your hdmi connector from the back of your player to a free hdmi on your TV. Once it's connected simply access the hdmi on your TV and that's it. If you don't have a hdmi socket on your TV you can use the AV coloured connectors also. I hope that helps you.

i buy this blue ray dvd player because it was easy to play dvd cd or blu-ray disk but after a long time begin the problem. first problem with de disk the want play or no disk. than problem disk can not out the dvd or blu-ray player door will not open. can not fix this problem. this is not the same like you try open the door from a blu-ray no not dis one. i clean all thing but can fix it. the one thing that is good on this blu-ray dvd player the price is cheap but if you want a dvd blu-ray player with a long live than this is not the one. 😒😞😞👎👎👎🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
